Diner Reviews
  • "Our dining experience at Wild Earth Cucina Italiana was wonderful from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. We were cordially greeted and when our party of five all arrived we were taken to a very large comfortable round booth allowing us the privacy needed to engage in conversation and enjoy our meal. Our server was one of the most accommodating, friendly and professional waitresses we have had serve us. The tap beer was enjoyed as well as the wine for starters. The food was outstanding from appetizer to soup, salad, entree and of course, dessert. What also amazed us was the cost, unbelievable cuisine for such a reasonable price. This is a hidden treasure in the Potawatomi Casino!"

  • "My husband and I were both disappointed with our pasta dishes. He ordered the spaghetti and I the canalloni. His dish was better than mine. The sauce was good but the dish only contained a small sausage. The cannelloni appeared very watery almost like it was frozen and then microwaved. I was very disappointed. On the plus side, the service and the ambience were very nice."

  • "The number of entrees was somewhat limited - but the food was prepared very well. I might add that the prices were less than I would have expected at a higher-end restaurant at the Casino."

  • "This is the 5th time we have dined at Wild Earth Cucina Italiana and I must say that each time has been nothing short of pleasant and tasteful. It is a high recommend on our list, especially when attending special events at the Northern Lights Theatre with friends and family. Wild Earth Cucina Italiana is a great start to any fun filled evening."

  • "I had the beef & mushroom ragout pasta (gluten free) and it was excellent. The caeser salad was fresh & crisp and just the right amount of dressing. the bean soup was good but not great - it was somewhere between brothy & hearty but left me wishing it was one or the other. Arancini were delicate and delicious...I used the olive oil dipping sauce instead of the aioli and they blended well. Aioli typically has egg and I have an allergy. Service was very prompt & professional."

  • "This place first caught our eye because they had a booth at the Food & Froth at the MPM. If you have never been you have to! My hubs had the Beef and Mushroom Ragout and I had the Frutti De Mare! IT AS DELICIOUS! Gambling and delicious food...what more could you ask for!"

  • "My wife and I had a wonderful dining experience at Wild Earth on Saturday, March 1st. From the moment we stepped into the restaaurant until the moment we left, the ambience, booth, service, and care were exemplary in all aspects. I would especially like to commend our waitress for her thoroughness, politeness, and dedication to making our dining experience unforgettable. She remembered everything about our visit - especially that it was my wife's birthday. There aren't enough superlatives in the English language to adequately express the joy your establishment displayed in having us dine at Wild Earth. We've eaten there before and we'll definitely dine there again, and again. Thank you!"

  • "we had a party of 8 and 6 peoples food came out the other 2 waited a half hour to get their food, everyone else was done eating by that time they did try to make up by taking off 4 of the dinners and a round of drinks but still it was valentines day we had a reservation and they knew we were coming.. I doubt any of us will ever try that place again"

  • "The food was good but service left much to be desired. We had a special that included a different WINE with each main course. The appetizer course wine was served promptly but the other 2 courses were wineless until I complained. Then, after we were done with half of our dessert, they brought the wine from the main course and the dessert together. Not quite what I would have expected. Also, they offered fresh parmesian cheese on our appetizers but never offered for the main course, nor could we locate our server from before the main course was served until after we were done with the main course."

  • "The restaurant was too loud to talk at our table. Our service was excellent but the food was cold and my wife could not even eat her lasagna it was so cold but the waitress took it off our bill. the other couple eating with us had the chicken picatta, also cold but tasty. Pork chop cold but again tasty. My veal picatta also cold but okay otherwise."

  • "The New Year's Eve package made for a great date night!!! The Wild Earth had a wonderful menu served with 3 wines, great staff, music during dinner, followed by the Neil Diamond performer Eric Ebert. During the performance we received party favors, a champagne toast and appetizers. It was a complete, most enjoyable package that would bring me back next New Year's Eve !!"

  • "This was our second time dining here. Our first experience went well enough for my wife & I to go again. We had a hard time trying to get a reservation and settled for an earlier time. When we arrived, we were promptly seated but ended up waiting for about 10-15 minutes before someone greated us, took our drink order and later our food order. The server in question was a manager and not a regular server. True, they were busier than our previous visit, but how could they not be prepared for a dinner time rush? Our regular server turned out to be the bartender. Our dinners were terrific, the desserts were a mixed bag. When we finished, it was at a time that I could not get for a reservation, but we saw a number of open tables. Why?"

  • "I was really excited to dine at Wild Earth Cucina Italiana this weekend -- we'd been to Dream Dance several years back and the food was fabulous. I was relatively disappointed. The flatbread we had as an appetizer was really good. 3 of the 4 dinners came out at the same time, but one of our dining companions had to wait about 5 additional minutes for his dinner. It was an unusually long period of time. I ordered lasagna as my entree. That was really disappointing..... It was lukewarm to begin with. And then it tasted like it had been warmed up several times -- the ground beef was actually dried out. I don't know that I would choose to dine there again."

  • "Great food, service and ambience. Enjoyed a nice evening out with family and with delicious aromas and flavors. Our group started with fried calamari and the fried artichokes, both well prepared with flavorful sauces. Then fennel salad which was unique and excellent! Entrees were chicken with prosciutto, frutti di mare and pork loin chop. All were excellent and delicious. We finished with ricotta cheesecake, beautiful. We avoided the everyday dishes like lasagna for two reasons. We all love our own family lasagna recipes and usually restaurant dishes are good but never the same as mom's and the menu offers much more interesting choices. It is upscale dining so choose for a nice evening out. We loved it and will be back!"

  • "I had your lasagna on Saturday evening and it was awful! It tasted funny - over cooked? - and it was dry. The layer of cheese across the top was like a piece of leather. No fooling! The lasagna was hot when it arrived, and the top cheese was like canvas! It was really awful. I should have sent it back, but I didn't want to make a fuss. I should have!"

  • "My friends and I tried Wild Earth Cucina Italiana as part of "Fox6 Days of Dining" both because of the location and the menu options. Unfortunately, our experience was marred almost immediately because of the wait. I had placed a reservation for dinner, and we still had to wait over 30 minutes to be seated. The hostess made feeble attempts to be accommodating, but seriously: the fact that you overseated a restaurant is not my problem when I have a reservation. Happily, the food did end up being worth the wait, and it was a good variety of options to try out for the night. I would recommend having a cocktails list available (rather than just a wine list) for those who aren't wine drinkers. A good night and in the end, a decent experience."

  • "We were shocked by the quality of the 3 course offerings we enjoyed. The flatbread was flavorful and the Caesar salad was the best I've ever had."
