Would not go back again! Waited SEVERAL minutes for our waitress to come over. When she did her first comment was "oh, let me get you some bread" and she disappeared again for a while. Came back with the bread and Finally took our order. We got our appetizer BEFORE our drinks. We had to ask the helper to get them. Food was nothing special. Dessert was the best part of the meal. Would not spend my hard earned money there again!!! Totally disappointed.

We were greeted by a very friendly staff. Our table was ready and our server immediately attended to us. The menu was great. The best appetizers were the siders. You can't loose with that selection. We are already planning on another visit and we will bring a different set of friends.

Had a wonderful mesl and because we ate early partook in the early bird special and happy hour. Three course meal, prepared and served esquisitely for $15 and generous glasses of wine for $3 can't be beat. Will return anytime and highly recommend the quality, not only the price.

Our waitress had way to many tables to take care of and they were training new employees all on a Friday night. I would've thought training would be done earlier in the week. My food was not as described by the waitress and had to be sent back to the kitchen. My husband's food had hair on it and had to be sent back as well. I was a bit flustered with the fresh bread that they serve you as you wait on your entrée because they put way too much flour on the bottom of the pan when they baked it so that when you pick it up flour is just falling all over the place. Chunks of flour went in my mouth on my first bite which had me quite upset.

  • Horrible service and marginal food
    OpenTable Diner Since 2006
    Dined on 7/29/2014
The marginal food was only eclipsed by the incredible poor service. From our time of seating is took 45 minutes to get cocktail. The food was old and should have been thrown away. Hard to believe a staff is so poorly trained and the food so bad for what was not really a cheap dining experience. Had this been a Wendy's or Burger King, that kind of service and quality "might" be anticipated.

We made reservations and when we arrived the restaurant was about 60% at capacity in terms of seating. They placed us at the absolute worst table (right in front of the kitchen) possible and the noise from the kitchen was quite loud. We waited about 8 minutes before we were able to find a new table. Our waitress was friendly but slow. The calamari was perfect...crisp and flaky but not overdone. I had the shrimp scampi and it was good but too heavy on the garlic. The wine list was nice and reasonably priced. The crowd, well, almost all gamblers straight from the casino. Not may diners, we could see, that were not gamblers.

The noise level is very loud. Music played was nice but washed out by the noise. My initial greeting and impression was "wanna be Italian restaurant ran by casino employees." Ambiance is lacking the intimacy of fine Italian dining. Service was not the quickest, but our server was pleasant. Woman that delivered the food could have been interchanged with a casino floor cleaner especially as she said nothing but grunted enjoy. My wife and I ordered martinis which were the worst $11 martinis in town! The crispy artichoke was a decent appetizer. The Parmesan chicken was average at best. Lower grade chicken, sauce tasted as pre processed instead of fresh, noodles out of a box and under cooked. My wife had the veal piccata which she said was good.

Server lacked basic wine knowledge. Forgot to bring our drinks. My ceasar salad was warm, limp and not fresh. My artichoke appetizer was small and tasteless, again not fresh. My husband enjoyed his seafood pasta dish. The atmosphere is nice but because the service and food were poor, I would not return.

We were so surprised by the interesting and tasty food selections when we took our slot machine-loving friends to Potawatomi last Thursday. Our daughter made the recommendation and the rest is history. The 6 of us had enjoyable conversations, the delightful waitress recognized our daughter and her husband which added to the appeal, great food, good recommendations from the waitress. Next time I am getting the salmon. Everything was scrumptious.

My wife is gluten free and cooks for a living. I can only say that she was very disappointed in the attitude that there were no seasonal specials at all. When you have a pasta dish that is gluten free you need to purchase and serve the same shape pasta as the menu says for the same item. Linguine, fettuccine, etc. Taking a linguine dish and substituting rotini made my wife feel as though she were a child being accommodated in a fancy restaurant. Poor choice of substitute. Then knowing she was gluten free you served us cheesecake with chocolate cake (HELLO, flour, wheat) on the bottom. Again poor choice. So..would we come to the Wild Earth again? NO there was nothing wild about it only bland boring pasta. Disappointing & waste of $100.00.

Overall, it was better than I could have imagined. We had a group of 8 and were placed in a beautiful, private dining area. The service was above average. The food was great. Considering the restaurant had such great ambiance, walking into a casino that immediately hits you with the smell of smoke is so adverse to what anyone wants to experience. The only other comment I would make is that there were a few people in our dinner party that ordered their drink of choice and it was not available. That would specifically be kahlua for a black russian and coke for a rum and coke.

Food and service were great. However, it would be a tremendous enhancement to the ambiance to move the server station (where they stock up on silverware and plates to set tables) to the back of the house. It was incredibly annoying to here the constant loud clanking of silverware and plates as they grabbed them. As well, some training on how not to bang the plates on the wood tables as they threw them out to set the table. Yet another thing that totally ruined the ambiance and made an already loud restaurant even more deafening.

First time at the casino and went to bet on the Kentucky Derby. The restaurant was a very nice surprise. Great menu selection and most reasonable prices. I had the chicken piccata that was delicious. The appetizer was bland and my partner's seafood entree was also bland, but he enjoyed it. The Prosecco was fabulous. Bridget, our server, was so pleasant and competent. Will return again soon!

Our dining experience at Wild Earth Cucina Italiana was wonderful from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. We were cordially greeted and when our party of five all arrived we were taken to a very large comfortable round booth allowing us the privacy needed to engage in conversation and enjoy our meal. Our server was one of the most accommodating, friendly and professional waitresses we have had serve us. The tap beer was enjoyed as well as the wine for starters. The food was outstanding from appetizer to soup, salad, entree and of course, dessert. What also amazed us was the cost, unbelievable cuisine for such a reasonable price. This is a hidden treasure in the Potawatomi Casino!

We ate dinner on a Thursday before an 8:00 show. Our server was great asking if we were going to a show so she could have the correct timing of our meal. She also save us some money by mentioning the $3.00 happy hour for wine instead of ordering a bottle. Our dinner was very good and thought the wine was excellent. Our server got us so drink to go to the show with. We had a great night and have told others about Wild Earth Cucina.

My husband and I were both disappointed with our pasta dishes. He ordered the spaghetti and I the canalloni. His dish was better than mine. The sauce was good but the dish only contained a small sausage. The cannelloni appeared very watery almost like it was frozen and then microwaved. I was very disappointed. On the plus side, the service and the ambience were very nice.
