Diner Reviews
  • "My wife and I enjoyed our meal at Wild Earth, and would return to try different dishes. The Calamari was cooked perfectly with a good sauce. Both of our entrees were excellent. The service was outstanding. Will return to try more of the food recommended by wait staff."

  • "The table placement always gives you plenty of room, plus we have been there quite a few times and the food is very good. We really enjoy the fact that you can not smell smoke inside because it is heavy in the hall outside."

  • "Service slow and poor. No water, salad order messed up & waitress realized and did nothing about it. Food average."

  • "Took my son's future in-laws to dinner and had a wonderful evening. They had never been there and can't wait to go back either. Awesome food, staff and truly wonderful décor."

  • "We were so surprised by the interesting and tasty food selections when we took our slot machine-loving friends to Potawatomi last Thursday. Our daughter made the recommendation and the rest is history. The 6 of us had enjoyable conversations, the delightful waitress recognized our daughter and her husband which added to the appeal, great food, good recommendations from the waitress. Next time I am getting the salmon. Everything was scrumptious."

  • "My wife is gluten free and cooks for a living. I can only say that she was very disappointed in the attitude that there were no seasonal specials at all. When you have a pasta dish that is gluten free you need to purchase and serve the same shape pasta as the menu says for the same item. Linguine, fettuccine, etc. Taking a linguine dish and substituting rotini made my wife feel as though she were a child being accommodated in a fancy restaurant. Poor choice of substitute. Then knowing she was gluten free you served us cheesecake with chocolate cake (HELLO, flour, wheat) on the bottom. Again poor choice. So..would we come to the Wild Earth again? NO there was nothing wild about it only bland boring pasta. Disappointing & waste of $100.00."

  • "Overall, it was better than I could have imagined. We had a group of 8 and were placed in a beautiful, private dining area. The service was above average. The food was great. Considering the restaurant had such great ambiance, walking into a casino that immediately hits you with the smell of smoke is so adverse to what anyone wants to experience. The only other comment I would make is that there were a few people in our dinner party that ordered their drink of choice and it was not available. That would specifically be kahlua for a black russian and coke for a rum and coke."

  • "The food was fantastic, as was the service. Thanks again for another great night!"

  • "My chicken alfredo was OK, but the chicken did not taste fresh. My wife liked her dish more than I liked mine. Service was slower than expeted despite it not being that busy. A little bit disappointed."

  • "Wild Earth never disappoints. Shrimp flatbread is the best! Chef Maggie truly cares about her diners and makes their dining experience special!"

  • "Our first visit but would definitely return. We went during early bird but ordered off the menu and our selection was excellent. Wait Staff was just the right amount of friendly but not "over-attentive" to the point of annoying. "

  • "The food and service was excellent. I loved my flatbread as did my sister. Will come again!"

  • "Our waitress was very attentive. The atmosphere was nice."

  • "Food and service were great. However, it would be a tremendous enhancement to the ambiance to move the server station (where they stock up on silverware and plates to set tables) to the back of the house. It was incredibly annoying to here the constant loud clanking of silverware and plates as they grabbed them. As well, some training on how not to bang the plates on the wood tables as they threw them out to set the table. Yet another thing that totally ruined the ambiance and made an already loud restaurant even more deafening."

  • "Food was good and arrived promptly. Service initially was slow. Did not expect kids to be running around in a casino restaurant"

  • "First time at the casino and went to bet on the Kentucky Derby. The restaurant was a very nice surprise. Great menu selection and most reasonable prices. I had the chicken piccata that was delicious. The appetizer was bland and my partner's seafood entree was also bland, but he enjoyed it. The Prosecco was fabulous. Bridget, our server, was so pleasant and competent. Will return again soon!"

  • "We came for a show from Kansas City. Everything was super and nice size servings. Waitress was excellent. Price was very reasonable. Would come back if in the Milwaukee area. "

  • "Our dining experience at Wild Earth Cucina Italiana was wonderful from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. We were cordially greeted and when our party of five all arrived we were taken to a very large comfortable round booth allowing us the privacy needed to engage in conversation and enjoy our meal. Our server was one of the most accommodating, friendly and professional waitresses we have had serve us. The tap beer was enjoyed as well as the wine for starters. The food was outstanding from appetizer to soup, salad, entree and of course, dessert. What also amazed us was the cost, unbelievable cuisine for such a reasonable price. This is a hidden treasure in the Potawatomi Casino!"

  • "We ate dinner on a Thursday before an 8:00 show. Our server was great asking if we were going to a show so she could have the correct timing of our meal. She also save us some money by mentioning the $3.00 happy hour for wine instead of ordering a bottle. Our dinner was very good and thought the wine was excellent. Our server got us so drink to go to the show with. We had a great night and have told others about Wild Earth Cucina. "

  • "My husband and I were both disappointed with our pasta dishes. He ordered the spaghetti and I the canalloni. His dish was better than mine. The sauce was good but the dish only contained a small sausage. The cannelloni appeared very watery almost like it was frozen and then microwaved. I was very disappointed. On the plus side, the service and the ambience were very nice."

  • "The number of entrees was somewhat limited - but the food was prepared very well. I might add that the prices were less than I would have expected at a higher-end restaurant at the Casino."

  • "This is the 5th time we have dined at Wild Earth Cucina Italiana and I must say that each time has been nothing short of pleasant and tasteful. It is a high recommend on our list, especially when attending special events at the Northern Lights Theatre with friends and family. Wild Earth Cucina Italiana is a great start to any fun filled evening."

  • "I had the beef & mushroom ragout pasta (gluten free) and it was excellent. The caeser salad was fresh & crisp and just the right amount of dressing. the bean soup was good but not great - it was somewhere between brothy & hearty but left me wishing it was one or the other. Arancini were delicate and delicious...I used the olive oil dipping sauce instead of the aioli and they blended well. Aioli typically has egg and I have an allergy. Service was very prompt & professional."

  • "This place first caught our eye because they had a booth at the Food & Froth at the MPM. If you have never been you have to! My hubs had the Beef and Mushroom Ragout and I had the Frutti De Mare! IT AS DELICIOUS! Gambling and delicious food...what more could you ask for!"

  • "My wife and I had a wonderful dining experience at Wild Earth on Saturday, March 1st. From the moment we stepped into the restaaurant until the moment we left, the ambience, booth, service, and care were exemplary in all aspects. I would especially like to commend our waitress for her thoroughness, politeness, and dedication to making our dining experience unforgettable. She remembered everything about our visit - especially that it was my wife's birthday. There aren't enough superlatives in the English language to adequately express the joy your establishment displayed in having us dine at Wild Earth. We've eaten there before and we'll definitely dine there again, and again. Thank you!"

  • "we had a party of 8 and 6 peoples food came out the other 2 waited a half hour to get their food, everyone else was done eating by that time they did try to make up by taking off 4 of the dinners and a round of drinks but still it was valentines day we had a reservation and they knew we were coming.. I doubt any of us will ever try that place again"

  • "The food was good but service left much to be desired. We had a special that included a different WINE with each main course. The appetizer course wine was served promptly but the other 2 courses were wineless until I complained. Then, after we were done with half of our dessert, they brought the wine from the main course and the dessert together. Not quite what I would have expected. Also, they offered fresh parmesian cheese on our appetizers but never offered for the main course, nor could we locate our server from before the main course was served until after we were done with the main course."

  • "The restaurant was too loud to talk at our table. Our service was excellent but the food was cold and my wife could not even eat her lasagna it was so cold but the waitress took it off our bill. the other couple eating with us had the chicken picatta, also cold but tasty. Pork chop cold but again tasty. My veal picatta also cold but okay otherwise."
