"Whitebark definitely is a great addition to the overall Mammoth dining. The pork belly and the seafood hotpot appetizers were very nice. The tenderloin was also excellent. The duck was well cooked, but the skin could be rendered a bit more and the risotto was messy. But overall very nice. The services was more polished than what you would expect up in Mammoth."

"We have visited this restaurant several times while staying in Mammoth but this experience was a complete let down. The bottle of Rose' we ordered was in fact a whitw wine, as the bread was served the entrees were delivered. My steak (ordered med) came rare to the table, I took two bites & realized there was no way I would enjoy the steak prepared this way. Pushed it to the side & waited for the waiter to check back, the manager passed 3 times without stopping before I had to call him over. Then the same steak was reserved with the same cold plate set up! I didn't make a fuss my husband was already finished with his dinner so I didn't want to wait any longer. Really disappointed this trip-"

"We enjoyed the restaurant. We actually were there February 16 th too but strangely, my reservation was cancelled. The hostess probable did not check us in but we were there eating at the sushi bar.. I would really appreciate receiving my open table points regarding my febraury 16 th reservation. Please advise. Thank you!!"

"2nd time there. They have a sushi bar but you cannot have sushi unless you sit at the bar which I think is ridiculous besides it is very expensive, save your sushi fix for your hometown favorite and not up in the high sierra. Charles, our waiter probably had a fight with his girlfriend or boyfriend or whatever, he was less than attentive although his wine suggestion turned out pretty well. The bar food and service is very good by the way, Justin is a very good cocktail maker."

"Located in The Village at Mammoth Lakes, CA (Westin Hotel) it is near ski lifts, shopping, etc. We went on New Year's Eve, which I usually avoid since restaurants usually have a set menu which is overpriced and doesn't always offer choices for everyone. Although pricey, this menu was fantastic! Just enough of each course and everything was fabulous. I even liked the scallops (not a favorite)! Charles, our waiter, was very attentive and explained everything thoroughly. They even let my son, a very finicky eater, order from the regular kid's menu. All the staff were wonderful. I look forward to going back and trying out their regular menu. If I'm in Mammoth over New Year's again I will definitely come here!"
