  • "To summarize: Two people ordered Martini's. Took 15 minutes then only one arrived, then the other arrived 20 minutes later. The restaurant was sold out of sparkling water!? They were sold out of the special at 7:30 pm. They were not very busy but everything took a long time. No apology for the delays. Disappointing."

  • "This is a beautiful restaurant and the staff help bring it to life by laying in the southern charm. I had the honey fried chicken which had great crispy skin but was still juicy on the inside. I had the cheese grits with mine instead of the garlic and they were perfect. I like my grits on the thicker side and that is exactly how they are served. The pickled cabbage gave a nice contrast to the sweetness of the dish."

I wasn't the only one in my party with these effects. I don't know that I can risk attempting eating there again but would love to."

George the server was great and patient with people moving, changes on the check as people fought over it, and adding a late-comer. Food was also great and everyone ordered the Rose Glasses cocktail and enjoyed -- except for one lady who got the whiskey flight! Would highly recommend for business groups at the nearby hotels."

  • "I was at the Hyatt and and noticed this place across the street... the food was good, but nothing incredible, not enough to bring me ITP from Marietta just to eat here, without another reason to be in town. They are very proud of their menu, their farm to table concept, etc. The server was a little too informative for our taste (she went on and on just over the drink menu) - but an informed staff is good - tempering that should be easy. As the night went on the service substantially deteriorated to the point that we sat with dessert menus for 15 minutes without any attention... eventually we asked to speak to the manager who was very apologetic and quickly took our order - and made a small discount to the bill to make up for the problems."

  • "The proprietor paid attention to detail in all aspects of the restaurant. The wait staff is attentive and stealth in their service. The menu is exceptional and often updated - the fried green tomatoes with pimento cheese are divine. The new shrimp beignets are fantastic. The braised shorts ribs and shank give new meaning to tender! Enjoy all with a specialty cocktail. The décor is organic with reclaimed oak plank walls. The restaurant's abundant natural daylight is transformed at night when the custom stacked silver maple chandeliers are illuminated along with wall sconces made of tapestry stretched on giant needle point loops. White Oak is always top on my list when dining with my husband, friends, or celebrating a special occasion."

  • "Sat with a big table, 14 or so, we were handed the regular menus then 15 minutes later these were swapped out for a very limited menu, no explanation but I assume because the kitchen was buried. Service was unbelievably slow. Took an hour to get first course. Waiters very confused about who got what. No explanation, no "sorrys", nothing. Amateur in every respect."

  • "Ever since The Food Studio closed, I've been looking for a new Atlanta favorite. I found it. The ambience and decor got me as soon as I arrived. I love the farmhouse feel. The servers are friendly, with plain shirts, jeans, and long aprons. The chatucerie was great, and my scallops were delicious. I have never tasted collard greens as good as these! Sweet potations were fab. Can't beat the pecan bourbon ice cream. Our server Derrick was friendly, personable, and helpful. He gets a shout-out. I'll be back next time I'm in Atlanta."
