A word from White Mountain Cider Company
Located in the heart of the White Mountains, the Cider Company is a favorite of both locals and tourist alike. We offer contemporary American cuisine, set in a late 1800"s farm house. We work with local farms when possible to create a seasonal menu, complimented by an extensive cocktail program and unique wines. The property is named for our cider mill, pressing fresh, unpasteurized cider every fall. Our cider is woven through both our cocktail menu and dinner menu. Signature dishes include Crispy Crab Cake on apple fennel slaw and our Cider Mill Salad with greens, pecans, crispy shallots and cider vinaigrette. We also have a casual fair menu available with our house burger, salads and more. Our casual fair menu is offered at the bar only Saturdays, holidays and vacation weeks. Continued

  • "I was so psyched to go here for my birthday after hearing so many good things about it. Food was ok. They try to make everything simple into gourmet and it isn't the greatest. The calamari is good though."

  • "The food and the service is top notch especially for bring both a great place for guests to the valley, but also local frequent diners. The chef frequently comes by to check on the meals. Very welcoming place with CIA trained staff!"

  • "This was our second time at White Mountain Cider Co. We first dined here 5 years ago. As soon as we made the inn reservations, I made this dinner reservation to make sure we made it here again while in town."

  • "This was our second time here & really enjoyed the food, service & it's rustic appearance. Can't wait to come again the next time we are here!"

  • "We thoroughly enjoyed the food, the great service and the atmosphere. The salads were delicious and the duck was excellent. We would never have discovered this not-so-obvious gem, had it not been for the recommendation by our great Innkeepers, Steve and Kaley at The Bernerhof Inn. Ottawa, Canada"

  • "One of the best meals I have ever had. This is a gem that my husband and I were recommended to try. We look forward to returning EVERYTIME we return back north."

  • "Very good meat and cheese plate. I also loved tuna. My sweetheart was disappointed in sauce on flank steak. He is a great cook and thought wine may have not been fresh in his sauce. Described as sour and bitter. We reported to waitress but I think she didn't know how to handle it. He ate it but left with a sour taste in his mouth"

  • "The food was absolutely the best around! From the bread to the apps and all of the entrees, delicious! If you are in the area and you don't want to average bar food, this is where you should be!"

  • "The White Mountain Cider Company is the best in the MWV for a fabulous wine list and consistantly delicious food. We started with pork belly gnocchi and split the scallop and pork shops. And of course the only way to end the night is with donuts and carmel sauce. The service was truly outstanding!"

  • "This was our first time eating there. We had a very short wait for our table. Service was prompt and courteous. The drinks were good though I was disappointed to find no Bombay Sapphire Gin was available. The cassoulet was outstanding as were the short ribs. the brussels sprouts appetizer would turn an brussels sprout hater to a lover. Will be back again."

  • "If you want a great meal, go to the cider mill!! This was my second time eating at the Cider Mill and each person tried something different. There was not one morsel of food left on anyone's plate. A truly delightful dinning experience we used to celebrate some good news! We will be going back to try other entrees."

  • "We're from the NYC area where great restaurant choices are limitless so we were thrilled to find a gem like White Mountain Cider Company on our recent visits to New Hampshire. We have been there twice and the food was excellent both times. The exterior of the building gives no clue about the great tastes you will find inside. The interior is relaxed and roomy, the service is attentive, and the food is excellent. Serving sizes are ample, in fact, a little large for me but I was happy to take the leftovers home in a doggie bag. Enjoy!!!"

  • "My husband and I have been to the White Mountain Cider Company twice. Both times the service and food were great. The food is very creative and well presented. The first time we went with another couple and the second time we brought our kids. I wasn't sure how that would be but it was fine. They don't have a kids menu but made our girls delicious, REAL macaroni and cheese. Even though it wasn't orange and from a box, they loved it. There were mostly adults there but other people with kids were there too. Nice place for a special dinner."

  • "There are a lot of restaurants in the Mt. Washington Valley however the White Mountain Cider Company definitely has the best food. Innovative combinations such as the roasted golden beets, lemon ricotta, pistachio, grilled radicchio salad are all over the menu and are executed perfectly. Loved it!"

  • "Had a 7:15 reservation and arrived at 7:15 and was seated immediately, nice. Our waiter approached us quickly and we ordered drinks. Waiter explained specials and some other menu items, but not well. Apps of crab stuffed peppers and boar sausage Arancini were very good. My partner had the short ribs, very good. I thought it was a little dry. I opted for the Cassoulet. Again I thought the duck and sausage were good tasting, but a little on the dry side. Overall we enjoyed the dinner."

  • "We visit the cider co. every time we are in the area. The food is consistently great and the wine list is better than anywhere else we have found. One of our children gets the adult Mac and cheese and the other plain pasta, not their favorite place to go, but they enjoy their meals."

  • "After being warmly greeted, we were seated at our waiting table. Our waiter was very attentive, the pace was great and the food was Fantastic. The roasted romaine salad was divine, short ribs were the best I've ever eaten. Want to go back soon!"

  • "I am not giving 5 stars, because we asked the server not to wait to bring the food all at once but bring as soon as dishes can be prepared, as we were so hungry and were going to share. Ignoring my request he held the food and brought it all at once. Fried calmary were well flavored but very oily."

  • "This was a romantic dinner and really great food. It's obvious that the White Mountain Cider Co strives to give their guests a wonderful dining experience. I never felt rushed at all; in fact, the timing of everything was perfect. The food is top quality and prepared beautifully. Super tasty. Would go back for sure."

  • "The food at WMCider is some of the best we've ever had, anywhere - and in a tourist area full of steak houses, pasta places, and burger joints, it was an especially welcome surprise. Each item on the menu is carefully presented, and clearly creatively designed with a subtle combinations of flavors, textures, and tastes. Highest recommendation.....just be sure to make reservations!"

  • "Mt. Washington Cider Company restaurant is definitely worth the short ride from N. Conway center. Great, creative food choices prepared by a chef trained at the Culinary Institute of America in N.Y. Nice cozy small bar area with a couple of high top tables in front of a blazing fireplace. Two other small rooms that have some tables for two but can also accommodate larger groups. There are a number of Asian fusion choices as well as traditional French dishes (e.g. Cassoulet). Good choices on the "casual" bar menu and "small plate" menu. Great wine menu with some unusual choices as well (e.g. White Rkat from Macedonia). I had the braised pork. Delicious. Finished with an almond pear frangipan cake which was also very good. Enjoy!"

  • "We are never disappointed eating at The White Mountain Cider Co Restaurant. Food was so delicious. It really is an art to make even salad taste gourmet. Duck was delicous and the Chicken Curry over Risotto ...melt in your mouth. No room for desert but will be back soon! Why eat someplace average when you can spend the same amount of money and enjoy gourmet!"

  • "My wife and I have been to the White Mountains a number of times and this was certainly our most enjoyable meal. The food was excellent, the service friendly and the pace of serving was great. The ambience is warm and rustic. It is a real treasure in a beautiful setting. We started withe the Arancini and stuffed dates and were extremely pleased. I had the cod and my wife had the pumpkin pasta with cider braised pork, both were first rate. Unfortunately, no room for breakfast. We will return when we come back to North Conway."

  • "Had several recommendations to dine at White Mountain Cider Company and we weren't disappointed. Great food with a lot of interesting selections - good assortment of comfort foods with a twist for the cold night out that it was - will be going back again soon! And then warm cider doughnuts and coffee at their store the next morning - yum!"

  • "What an amazing and delicious experience! We just got back from dinner and only have praises for the Cider Co. The cocktails were creative and unique. My husband raved about the burger that my young son kept asking to keep trying. I enjoyed the scallops. Our waitress was helpful with suggestions and very attentive. We also didn't pass up dessert tonight and everyone enjoyed the cider donuts. Great find!"

  • "White Mountain Cider Company is a hidden gem in ski country. It is the perfect spot to go for a warm, comfortable dinner- what a cozy atmosphere. The food is definitely heads above the other options of the area (I had a delicious pumpkin pasta with kale and cider braised pork), and seems to focus on fresh local ingredients. Still, the service, options, and some of the dishes seem to lag behind similar caliber restaurants in more bustling areas."

  • "This was my first dinner at the Cider Company. The food was impeccable, as was the service and ambience. My waiter, Ben, was excellent--good pace, knew exactly when to come and gave good information. Excellent bartender--picked out wine that was perfect. Can't wait to go back!"

  • "The food was reasonably priced for the quality. It was at par with many high end restaurants you would find in a city, but still have an atmosphere of comfort and coziness. The cod with lobster risotto was delicous. Be sure to order the cider donuts!"

  • "My wife and I have travelled to the White Mountain area for several years, and have driven by this restaurant numerous times. Very happy that we decided to try it, as the menu selection was full of interesting dishes with plenty of local flavor. I enjoyed every course, from the roasted tomato and crab bisque through the scallops. Everything was well-prepared and presented. Drink menu was a pleasant surprise, with a wide variety of eclectic mixes that matched offerings from very good restaurants that I have eaten at in New York and London. Looking forward to returning during our next visit to the area."
