I had the mushroom soup to start (as I always do) and then for an entree had the wild halibut which was the best I can ever remember. My son had his usual: the lamb sliders and burger followed by the cookie jar with milk - a little birthday treat for him. And we split the special salad of the night -- roasted asparagus with a bunch of other stuff that I can't recall. Both dishes were very good -- imaginative, cooked perfectly, lots of different flavors coming together well. Our waiter happily accommodated all of our requests for customization. It was an especially good menu, and my party was expertly guided by our server. The food was fantastic, leisurely pacing with attentive service. I cannot stress how good the food was. We shared the cheeseboard and strawberry french toast, then we all tasted one another's entrees. I would have been happy with any of the meals at our table. Love the ambience first, then the food, Wait staff has consistently been friendly, courteous and on top of things. This restaurant makes you feel "happy" to be there. AND, they were very smart to quickly deal with the parking issues when they first opened by providing valet parking during peak times. of our better experiences. Our reservation was at 6:30 p.m. and we were seated promptly - right next to a table of three and the only other patrons in the restaurant. As the evening progressed, things became quite busy - and noisy. Our server was also
busy and follow-up was minimal. However, our food was served promptly and was very good. The manager - Elliott - was

The restaurant is plastered with all types of dog pictures and photos that are just wonderful. Now lets get to the good stuff. The food is amazing. We started with the tuna tartare,steak tartare, and the oyster sampler and the freshness just shined through. Finished up this glorious meal with three desserts, the cookie assortment, pb&j cake and the bread pudding. Needless to say we left very content and eager for our next visit. I have been here many times and definitely would return to try more dishes. The mushroom soup was amazing and the kale salad were superb. Getting to go there is a huge treat due to the expensive prices, but it is always outstanding. The truffle fries are always a personal favorite and the double cheddar burgers are amazing (especially those buns). The only problem is how close the seating is at certain tables. My entree, Farm and Sea was excellent as well. The portions were perfect. I was sad I didn't have room for dessert. The only thing I might suggest is a little bit more comfortable seating. I was on the bench with a pillow. If you have a bad back, ask for a table with a chair. The prices definitely suggest fine dining. I made the reservation for 5:30 pm because I had read and heard it was noisy but we were seated in the back room which is beautifully appointed and found it very quiet.
The food was very good although the portions are small. When we left and walked thru the bar it was active although not so that we were affected where we were seated.
