Diner Reviews
  • "The dining room has a low ceiling and no divider walls. It was very loud for a dinner restaurant. The food was good, the service as well, but the presentation was poor at best. The dinnerware used for our 30.00 entrees is more often seen at a pancake house where a 5.99 breakfast is served. Overall food presentation needs an upgrade."

  • "Consistently great service (thank you Mark!) and great food. Our Saturday night restaurant of choice."

  • "This place was very noisy. I got the half slab bbq ribs and chicken. Wasn't worth the price of 27.99. Not much meat on the ribs and the grilled chicken from Jewel is better. The bread pudding is phenomenal though."

  • "I raved about this place after the first visit. Took friends the second time and 4 pieces of prime rib were so tough we couldn't cut it! Even the dessert was terrible! They gave us a gift certificate that we will not use!"

  • "Again - a wonderful dining experience. We are rarely disappointed at WCG. We are somewhat "regulars", dining here about once per month. Food taste, quality, and friendly/professional service are consistently excellent. Can certainly recommend the filet mignon salad, the rotisserie chicken (with good gravy) and the steaks. The women loved the salmon."

  • "Always a pleasure. Went this past friday, it was kind of loud. But the food was phenomenal, spinach dip, trio and ended the night with white chocolate bread pudding."

  • "We had a terrific dining experience starting with the ambience to the service and to the most important part, the food. The Rotisserie chicken was fantastic as well the starters of guacamole, asian rolls and the spinach & artichoke dip. We finished with the bread pudding and, again, it was as good as any we've tasted."

  • "The service is NEVER Friendly ....no personality, like it is an effort to wait on you...its too bad. I have heard this from others & the food is good., but I like to be waited on with a smile not an attitude. A Birthday dessert when you spend over 325.00 for dinner on the house or waiter would be a nice touch!!"

  • "White Chocolate is my go-to spot for special occasions, or wanting to take family and friends to a great restaurant with great service. Highly recommended if you're looking for a new restaurant to check out!"

  • "Showed up a few minutes late for the reservation and they were nice enough to give us the next table. Service was very good. Multiple waiters and waitresses came to bring the food and drinks to the table in a timely manner. Great experience for a birthday dinner."

  • "Great place to eat. Doesn't matter if you are casual dinning with a friend or family. Excellent place to eat."

  • "We come here every Saturday night and the food is consistently great. Last night we had one of our favorite servers, Mark. He is awesome!!!"

  • "My wife, our son and his fiancé went to the White Chocolate Grill to celebrate my wife's and my son's fiancé's birthdays. Although a little pricey, this is our go to place for special occasions. The service has always been top notch, the food is very good and we love the atmosphere, especially when sitting at a table close to the bar. Drinks are not cheap, but the price of the food, for the most part is acceptable."

  • "My boyfriend and I have been coming to White Chocolate Grill for over two years now and we can honestly say that this restaurant is second to none. The service and food alike are incredible. Our favorite part of our meal is always the desert."

  • "We often go to dinner with other couples. It was our goal to try some place new. I had attended another restaurant near White Chocolate Grill and said it would be out next spot. What a great choice. The food was delicious, the staff was attentive and helpful with wine pairing and entree choices. I would definitely recommend this spot to friends."

  • "White Chocolate's food, service, and ambience were outstanding. From the delicious Specialty drinks, artichoke appetizer, to the main entress, everything was prepared and tasted great. My wife and I had the balsamic infused aged steaks. YUM! Our guests had the salad and trout. Both were excellent. We plan on returning to once again dine at White Chocolate."

  • "The food and service was average much like what you might expect from a chain restaurant. Nothing was bad, far from it, but nothing stood out to make the experience memorable."

  • "We honestly chose this place because the other restaurants in the area could not get a reservation for 10 people in that night. The staff from the hosts to the busboy seamed to really like their job! The food was served in a timely manner (we did not get appetizers), was the right temperature and the portion sizes were perfect (all of us could not get over how good the French Fries were)! The décor was modern and warm and the area we were in with other large table groups was not over-packed and gave you plenty of space to move. Great experience and the wonderful server even did separate checks for us!"

  • "Food above average service fair waited for drinks waited for server"

  • "Service was almost too good. We were out for a romantic evening expecting food to take awhile. We were in and out in under 1 hour. Meal was delicious."

  • "Our party had steak, salmon, and an entree salad. The Asian-glazed salmon and the steak salad were the best. The steak salad is a much better value than the steak. No entrée was remarkable, though we all agreed that the white chocolate brownie was great! We were seated in the cavernous space shared with the bar. Lots of background noise, but we could still conduct a conversation. Server knew her menu, gave good guidance and was pleasant, if rushed. A nice experience, but not a favorite."

  • "Great food...great service...but it is a place that carries noise and you tend to have to speak very loudly to have a conversation"

  • "We made reservations to celebrate as a family on a Tuesday night. We drove all the way from outside of Morris and arrived 7 minutes before our reservation. We were told by the hostess staff we had to wait, and sat for 25 minutes to get a table. It was extremely loud and dark. The food was average. The staff not very friendly. Overall not worth the drive and wait. If you have a reservation, be aware that to them that does not mean getting seated in a reasonable amount of time!!! (Even on a Tuesday night)"

  • "Both the food and the service are great! The restaurant uses a team approach and Mark, our server and his coworker Nate, as always, took great care of us. Personable and on top of everything!"

  • "Food was good. Dessert was excellent. Chocolate Martini's the best!!!"

  • "Sadly, we both were very disappointed in the quality of our food. We started with shrimp cocktail which was rubbery and tasteless; clear not fresh and if so, way over cooked. I ordered a the roasted pork loin and my wife the salmon. Regarding my pork, if I was to guess, it was boiled in a bag prepared. Each slice was identical to the next. Text was not what one expect of pork and there was zero char or bark from the roasting process. My wifes salmon was served in a pool of syrup and the fish was hard to enjoy due to the amount of sugar it was soaked in. Sadly, WCG was recommended to us by a few couples. We were highly disappointed in the entire experience. Therefore we will not return nor suggest it to others."

  • "Wow,,, nice food selection. And that's about it for this occasion. We had been here once before with some others and sat close up to the entrance which was nice atmosphere. We made our reservation for this visit letting them know it was an Anniversary dinner, and promptly sat us in the bar next to a large table that was literally yelling at each other to be heard. Terrible. Asked to be moved, and that was a bit better. The server though was absolutely terrible. Worst service I can remember at a so called fine dinning establishment. Worst thing was when she reached down to pick up a napkin the other table had dropped on the floor. She walked behind the table as she refolded the napkin, walked back around and put it on the table. Wow!!!"

  • "Ate here last week for our 2nd anniversary. First time there and we loved it, the food was fantastic, the service was great and very helpful. It is a little dark inside for my taste but helps the intimate feel."

  • "Reservations are a must. We had reservations for 7:15 when we arrived they were a few minutes late in seating us (5 min tops) The manager came over immediately and apologized and offered us an appetizer and a dessert on the house."

  • "a little loud and close for private conversations, would not ever bring kids, at least for dinner. food is good, martini's and desserts good but a bit overpriced"
    Dined on 7/17/2014
  • "I generally love the food and service at White Chocolate. However, this time there we 5 of us and we were seated between two large groups of diners. The noise level was uncomfortable and we just simply couldn't talk. We enjoyed the food as usual, but I'll have to rethink eating here with a larger group than 2 people!"

  • "For us going out to eat is something we do once in a while. Because, as you know, dining out is expensive. I'll put White Chocolate Grill up there with Maggiano's, Morton's and Sullivan's steak house--they are all very good but tend to be a bit pricey for us. Hence we'll go only when its a graduation, wedding related or special occasion. WCG has good atmosphere (a bit dark with lighting) and good overall service."

  • "The waitstaff were friendly and attentive. They were patient with us...Our group spent so much time talking, we weren't quick to make dinner choices."

  • "Ordered Jumbalaya. Shrimp overcooked. Just like rubber. Extreemly salty. Wife had something similar to Marsala chicken. No taste to it at all. Very blend. For appetizer we had fryed rolls. They were ok. Way too much stuff in them. Bussy. Cheesecake was delicious though. I will not recommend this place to none of my friends. I can't believe they are so bussy for dinners. There are so many other choices right next to it with way better food."
