The food is always amazing - presentation and plating, combinations...a wonderful treat. When it's busy, they may give you a little more time to let things linger on your pallet ;) The service is good, but you can call if they are short staffed or very busy. It isn't obnoxious - but plan for a 90 min meal if you do dinner, dessert and coffee. My last visit was better but the service was a little slower this time (though we had 2 birthday celebrations so the server may have been giving us some space).

Very loud and very fast! They wanted us in and out to turn over our table. We were looking for a nice dinner out with friends, and had we not ordered a second drink, we would have been out of there in 45 minutes (and we had apps, dinner & dessert!)! Patrons waiting to be seated were standing around our table with their apps resting on the ledge over our heads and talking so loud, we could not really have a conversation at yhe table. But the food was very good!!

When I made my reservation through Open Table, I asked them to do something special or funny since I was surprising my fiance Kyle for our anniversary. They gave us a small ice cream with a candle to blow out for free!! That was very unexpected. We had numerous people take care of us and they were all so pleasant. Will be going back shortly! :)

The restaurant is beautiful and classy. The food was outstanding. The dishes in our party included salmon salad, trout, steak, chicken crepes with mushroom gravy and jambalaya. Everyone enjoyed the food. There were five in our party, one in a wheel chair. I felt a little put out that we were seated in the part of the restaurant set aside for larger parties, strollers, etc. Possibly because of the location, service was slow, the food did not arrive all at the same time, we had to ask for rolls (and when we got them, we received four rolls for five people), and some extra napkins we requested never arrived. Because of the slow service and a time restriction, we skipped dessert. No one had alcoholic beverages. Our bill came to $127 before tip.

Seated in bar area....so much for reservations; we're seated with walk-ins. Waitress was stressed; it appeared she had tables all over the restaurant. Salad order got lost. Entres - prime rib and crab cakes - were average at best. Rather tasteless. Overall, a rather disappointing experience. Never saw anyone in any management position. Very unusual for a busy Saturday night... and likely somewhat telling when considering our experience.

We love White Chocolate Grill. The food is not only delicious, it is imaginative. They have the best ribs around, and the Balsamic rib-eye steak is a favorite. The service is excellent without being obtrusive. The restaurant is beautifully decorated. We come as often as we can. The desserts are to die for--especially the chocolate molten lava cake. Prices are reasonable for the amount and quality of the food you receive. We recommend WCG to our friends and family and hope that it thrives for decades to come!

We had a reservation for 5:45 PM on Saturday, but didn't get seated until 6:30 PM! [Are they trying to sell overpriced drinks, perhaps to get us liquored up so we can't taste the food?] Once we got seated, the service was good. Most of the menu offerings were for items we make at home, so no reason to order them and be disappointed, especially at the high prices. The prime rib was delicious, however the mashed potatoes were awful; they had some spice in them [nutmeg?] which made them inedible! What a BIG disappointment this was!

Our family had a wonderful dining experience at WCG. 2 adults, 1-17 y.o. & 1-13 y.o.. We ate the spectrum from Steak to burger to salmon to bbq pulled pork. Everything was delicious. Oh, and of course the dessert- Cheesecake & Apple pie. Note, desserts are for 2 people. Our waitress was fantastic. We had a crabby 13 year old that was tired from a early morning swim meet. The waitress worked hard at getting our daughter to smile by speaking with her directly each time she came to the table. She finally broke her down and got her to smile. Great people skills.

This place had one of those gigantic menus. We were there with a huge group of people, service took a while, perhaps they were understaffed that day? Tried several of the appetizers including the egg rolls and ribs, which were alright. The bar is very interesting or colorfully arranged. The place itself was also huge -probably could seat 300+. I did find out how they came up with the name of this establishment. Might visit again.

Our party of 4 was very chatty and Phil was very patient, giving us plenty of chances to finally read the menu and make choices. When we did order, the food arrived quickly and was very good. We ordered 2 Apple Pies to share among the 4 of us. They were fantastic. I would highly recommend this restaurant and wished we lived closer so we could eat here again.

My daughter had eaten here before and loved it. Our meals this time were good but not amazing. I had the trout which was cooked nicely but I didn't really like it. Maybe that's just me. She had the filet and it was not served midrare as ordered, it was served rare. She could have sent it back but said it was okay that way. She said it was good but not as good as last time. So a little disappointed. We had to ask for rolls which was a little annoying. Not sure if they serve them automatically and I also had a salad and vegetable which I believed were included but they were a la carte so a little extra on the bill for those. Not sure if we will return there, it just wasn't as great as we thought it was initially.

This was my first visit; and it won't be my last! I found the food was great, my soup, the tomato, was a very good starter. All of my party enjoyed the sirloin sandwiches. The carrots were a great side and the fries were so good they stood on their own without any need for catchup! I would recommend The White Chocolate Grill to anyone.

We have been to the White Chocolate Grill numerous times and always find it satisfying. The food is great and the service is excellent! Our favorite is the spinach dip appetizer. Ever time I go I try something different and am not disappointed!. I've had the chicken crepes which may be my favorite! The fish I've tried is always fresh and the taste is simple like I love. I've had the salad with the filet and it is also excellent. I've had wine which is great and also tried their martini selection. The atmosphere is excellent whether sitting at the bar or in a table or booth. It can be a romantic place or a place to go with a group of friends.

The food was good, but not enough for the men. Had to ask for buns on the table. Wine did not come with the meal. My whole dinner was cool, but good. Waitress asked and I told her and she took it quickly. So others ate while I waited...not good. My dinner came the 2nd time and it was good, but cool again. Waitress gave reason why (sauce under and cucumbers on top made it cool). My friends broccoli was cold. Waitress brought another order. Waitress took my dinner off of the bill. But we would have all rather had a hot meal together with wine.

On the positive side, White Chocolate Grill has a pretty good gluten free menu, that my husband, who has celiac, can enjoy. Atmosphere is nice but really loud; something with the acoustics makes it difficult to hear people at your table. Service was really slow on this particular visit which is usually not the case. Meals were just "okay" and prices seemed to have gone up. Overall, disappointing to spend $150 for a table of four and not be satisfied with the experience.

The food quality has finally degraded enough that I doubt I will be back. Portions are smaller, quality of meats reduced, even the pork was only Denny's quality. To end it, the pumpkin cheesecake was so runny in the middle you could have used a straw. The server should have Sean that prior to delivering it to the table. Moving on...

We were travelling through the Chicago area on our way back to Alberta and stopped for the night in Naperville. We'd never eaten at a White Chocolate Grill and decided to give it a try when we discovered it had a GF menu (my wife has celiac disease). We noted the GF requirement when we made the reservation on Open Table. When we arrived at 6:30 on a Thursday the restaurant was very busy but we only had a 2 minute wait before we were seated. On the way to the table I asked the hostess about the GF menu and she'd noted it on the reservation request and had it with her. From the time we were seated the staff were attentive and helpful in spite of how busy the restaurant was . The food was great, well prepared and hot.
