My mother and I like to have lunch at White Chocolate when we spend the day shopping. This is her favorite restaurant because she LOVES the chicken crepes with a Madeira and mushroom sauce with mashed potatoes! I had the grilled chicken with the same sauce on the side and the couscous, which was very good. Our food was very good, our server was attentive, making sure we had water and anything else we needed. This is a very nice restaurant. You can go casual or I would recommend business casual in the evening. They have a very nice bar area, so if you're looking for a place to meet friends, this may be the place to go. Overall, our experience was very nice and we will certainly return.

Whether you make reservations via phone or open table, you will almost have to wait at least 20-30 minutes after you check in. The manager was very apologetic regarding this issue, however that issue needs to be worked on. We still frequent this restaurant and need to either go earlier before dinner hour or after the rush to avoid the long wait with or without reservations.

We went on a rainy day so it wasn't crowded and were seated right away. We were there to have lunch with my niece who was leaving for college the next day. The waitress shared her college experience and was very positive and fun. Our lunch entrees were all delicious and we had enough to take some home. We shared the White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake for dessert and it was huge and wonderful. Usually I don't like a lot of "stuff" on my cheesecake but the combo of raspberry, white chocolate crumbles and a little caramel all blended with the creamy cheesecake making it extra yummy! It was a real treat and a great sendoff for my niece!

I took my niece her for her birthday celebration dinner and it was very good! The white chocolate martinis are very good. I didn't see too many little ones around but we had reservations and only had to wait maybe 10 mins to be seated. I would definitely go again.

  • NOT a Steakhouse!
    Michael
    Dined on 8/19/2014
Our experience began with stale tortilla chips with our appetizers. Our steaks were dismal. This is NOT a steakhouse. Frugal portions. Poor presentation. Average quality beef. Very high price: $29 for a meager portion. I've had better Choice cut steaks from Costco or BJs that I cooked myself. Overall, a very poor value. White Chocolate Grill should be embarrassed. I've eaten at exceedingly better steakhouses in the Chicago area. White Chocolate Grill isn't in the same league. The only thing worthwhile at this restaurant is the desserts. Excellent desserts - especially if you like white chocolate. generous portions. Great place for late night dessert and coffee.

The dining room has a low ceiling and no divider walls. It was very loud for a dinner restaurant. The food was good, the service as well, but the presentation was poor at best. The dinnerware used for our 30.00 entrees is more often seen at a pancake house where a 5.99 breakfast is served. Overall food presentation needs an upgrade.

This place was very noisy. I got the half slab bbq ribs and chicken. Wasn't worth the price of 27.99. Not much meat on the ribs and the grilled chicken from Jewel is better. The bread pudding is phenomenal though.

Again - a wonderful dining experience. We are rarely disappointed at WCG. We are somewhat "regulars", dining here about once per month. Food taste, quality, and friendly/professional service are consistently excellent. Can certainly recommend the filet mignon salad, the rotisserie chicken (with good gravy) and the steaks. The women loved the salmon.

We had a terrific dining experience starting with the ambience to the service and to the most important part, the food. The Rotisserie chicken was fantastic as well the starters of guacamole, asian rolls and the spinach & artichoke dip. We finished with the bread pudding and, again, it was as good as any we've tasted.

The service is NEVER Friendly ....no personality, like it is an effort to wait on you...its too bad. I have heard this from others & the food is good., but I like to be waited on with a smile not an attitude. A Birthday dessert when you spend over 325.00 for dinner on the house or waiter would be a nice touch!!

My wife, our son and his fiancé went to the White Chocolate Grill to celebrate my wife's and my son's fiancé's birthdays. Although a little pricey, this is our go to place for special occasions. The service has always been top notch, the food is very good and we love the atmosphere, especially when sitting at a table close to the bar. Drinks are not cheap, but the price of the food, for the most part is acceptable.

We honestly chose this place because the other restaurants in the area could not get a reservation for 10 people in that night. The staff from the hosts to the busboy seamed to really like their job! The food was served in a timely manner (we did not get appetizers), was the right temperature and the portion sizes were perfect (all of us could not get over how good the French Fries were)! The décor was modern and warm and the area we were in with other large table groups was not over-packed and gave you plenty of space to move. Great experience and the wonderful server even did separate checks for us!

Our party had steak, salmon, and an entree salad. The Asian-glazed salmon and the steak salad were the best. The steak salad is a much better value than the steak. No entrée was remarkable, though we all agreed that the white chocolate brownie was great! We were seated in the cavernous space shared with the bar. Lots of background noise, but we could still conduct a conversation. Server knew her menu, gave good guidance and was pleasant, if rushed. A nice experience, but not a favorite.

We made reservations to celebrate as a family on a Tuesday night. We drove all the way from outside of Morris and arrived 7 minutes before our reservation. We were told by the hostess staff we had to wait, and sat for 25 minutes to get a table. It was extremely loud and dark. The food was average. The staff not very friendly. Overall not worth the drive and wait. If you have a reservation, be aware that to them that does not mean getting seated in a reasonable amount of time!!! (Even on a Tuesday night)

Sadly, we both were very disappointed in the quality of our food. We started with shrimp cocktail which was rubbery and tasteless; clear not fresh and if so, way over cooked. I ordered a the roasted pork loin and my wife the salmon. Regarding my pork, if I was to guess, it was boiled in a bag prepared. Each slice was identical to the next. Text was not what one expect of pork and there was zero char or bark from the roasting process. My wifes salmon was served in a pool of syrup and the fish was hard to enjoy due to the amount of sugar it was soaked in. Sadly, WCG was recommended to us by a few couples. We were highly disappointed in the entire experience. Therefore we will not return nor suggest it to others.

Wow,,, nice food selection. And that's about it for this occasion. We had been here once before with some others and sat close up to the entrance which was nice atmosphere. We made our reservation for this visit letting them know it was an Anniversary dinner, and promptly sat us in the bar next to a large table that was literally yelling at each other to be heard. Terrible. Asked to be moved, and that was a bit better. The server though was absolutely terrible. Worst service I can remember at a so called fine dinning establishment. Worst thing was when she reached down to pick up a napkin the other table had dropped on the floor. She walked behind the table as she refolded the napkin, walked back around and put it on the table. Wow!!!
