Diner Reviews
  • "My wife and I came for our 34th anniversary dinner. We had a great experience. The food was great and so was our server. We did not feel rushed so it was very relaxing. We enjoyed looking at the wonderful assortment of liquor bottles stacked high above the bar. We will definitely come back."

  • "The food was very bland and the ambience was very noisy. It reminded me of a TGI Fridays but the food was not as good. Also, it was too expensive for the quality."

  • "The facility itself is amazing - bravo. Three things saved our anniversary dinner. 1. The cocktails were extraordinary. 2. The restaurant was just truly beautiful 3. The dessert was the best we've had in years. However we were put off by the quality of the food ie really fishy tasting salmon and my prime rib was on the dry side. I was not impressed. We did not appreciate that some of the diners were let in and allowe to wear hats in the dining room. Some of the bar patrons looked disheveled and did not put forth an effort to dress accordingly. The lack of a dress code for such a nice venue is unappetizing much like the soy glazed salmon and the prime rib."

  • "My husband and I went there for my birthday. Everything was fantastic, so fresh and clearly there was thought and care put into each dish. And of course the dessert was awesome."

  • "My second visit to White Chocolate Grill did not disappoint. My friend and I started with the guacamole, which was fantastic. We both decided on the Filet Mignon Cobb Salad, what a great choice! Probably the best salad I've had in a long time! We will definitely be back."

  • "I went to WCG with my sister to celebrate our 30th birthday. It was our first time there, and we were very excited. When we got there, we waited at the bar for about 5-10 minutes for our table. We had a 7:30 reservation but arrived a little early (so really we were seated on time). The bar was amazing! I've never seen a bar so colorful and vibrant! The bartenders were friendly and helpful. The server was also very friendly and helpful. We ordered appetizers, which were amazing and they came quickly. Our dinner was also good and came out in an appropriate amount of time. Of course the best part of the meal was the dessert! We each ordered a piece of the White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake! It was delicious! We will definitely go back!"

  • "Recently went with my family for my birthday. Fantastic service and wonderful food."

  • "Food was very good- My wife had a salad that she said was terrific. I opted for the BBQ-half a rack of ribs and half of rotisserie chicken- both were excellent although a bit pricey for BBQ. The desserts are very good- worth saving room for. Excellent service. Only drawback I felt was the noise level- if you are looking for a quiet dinner this is not the place."

  • "My son was very complimentary of the service and special attention that was provided to him on his birthday."

  • "So dark in the restaurant I almost tripped over a high chair I couldn't see. Waitress said "we are known for our ribs...meaty and fall-off-the bone". Very disappointing ribs. $23. I actually ate the entire full rack because there was so little meat on them. I had to cut & chew off the little the meat there was.Drier than most ribs I've ordered. I've had MUCH better ribs for half the price. My husband ordered the fish...said it was good but could have ate 2...not much food for the price. Dessert said "$7.98 dessert for 2"....I could have easily eaten the entire dessert myself. I was expecting a super large serving for 2. Mind you, I am 125 lb woman. Noise was so loud, I was yelling the entire time in our booth..headache when we left."

  • "Disappointed we were sat in the "party room" which was loud and disruptive to our meal. Servers were very attentive and food was great."

  • "The Israeli couscous is so delicious! I have had several different fish dished & always been extremely happy. The bar is fabulous! Services was good. Just all around a great place to spend a quiet evening out."

  • "I am not a desert person, nor do I generally save room for it but I have never been to white chocolate grill without getting desert. The bread pudding is the best!"

  • "Everything was good, the egg roll appetizer that are server recommended were AMAZING! Our server, Nick was also very helpful and polite!"

  • "Celebrated wife's 40th at the restaurant. Everyone told her Happy Birthday (who does that) and she was extremely happy with the food, restaurant, and service. As long as she is happy, I am happy. Staff was attentive and the food was hot and quick so definite pluses for that. Couple minor negatives from my perspective. Made reservations for 2 for 7pm but still had to wait for 15-20 minutes for a table. Was also hoping for a quiet table in the "side room" but was put on the main floor where it was high energy. Not major things, especially if you do not mind "high energy", but wanted to point them out."

  • "As always, the food at WCG is terrific, but, despite reservations, there is always a 15+ minute wait for a table on weekends. This wouldn't be so bad if there was room to sit to wait, but since they also choose to accept walk-ins, the bar and foyer are always packed and there's little or no place to stand without being in someone's way. Once seated, however, our server was excellent. The eggrolls were superb as were the pomegranate mojitos (a delightful non-alcoholic treat.) The pulled pork sandwich was very good, but the cole slaw was too sour so I was glad to have asked for it on the side. The turkey dip was also delicious and big enough for this meal and a take home. Will try to save room for dessert next time; they looked incredible!"

  • "It was nice to walk past a waiting crowd and be seated right away. Our wait person was very attentive and nice. I received a funny b-day card from my friend. I showed it to our wait person and she lost it. She could've easily sat down and fit right in. Great time!!!"

  • "The service is very good and the food is of good quality. However, I did not care for the vegetable of the day: spaghetti squash as it was very full of garlic and the butter/cheese and salt were not adequately dispersed. Also, the Miami shrimp salad was good but it was too chilled where you could not taste the ingredients to the fullest potential. If these 2 things could be adjusted, I would recommend and order them again."

  • "Our waiter, Scott, was very attentive. Food and drinks were delicious as always, I love this restaurant and recommend it to anyone."

  • "We drive from over 2 and a half hours away to come to this restaurant when we are in town and for special occasions. The staff if great and very accommodating. We have been here for my wife's Master's graduation and a couple of our anniversaries. This is one of the best gluten free restaurants that we have been to in terms of taste, selection, service, and accommodation. We love it and it is my wife's favorite restaurant."

  • "First time visit we made reservations 2 weeks before and met friends from Deerfield. We had 7pm reservations but weren't seated til 7:20pm. The restaurant was very loud. The food server did not come to the table for 10 minutes but after that she rushed us through every course. The main dishes were at the table before we finished our apps. The food server was trying to take our dessert order before we were half done with our main entrees. We felt very rushed and that the food server just wanted to turn her tables quickly. My salad was very good but my husband's steak was cold and over cooked. We probably will not return anytime soon."

  • "this was the 2nd time someone at the table had trouble with there entree. this time it was me. I order the filet magnon salad. what i got was a gritty, tough steak of some kind. I suggested to them that they needed to change the name of the menu to steak instead of filet - cause that was not a filet! Filet's are tender not chewy..."

  • "If you account for the prices and and portion sizes, this place is is easily 2-3 times costlier than most other similar places. Just to give an example, my Jambalya dish had barely 2 sausage and 3 shrimp pieces for $16. They give huge portion of fries covering 50% of the dish. I just dont know how people can go here more than once. You can go to Cheesecake factory at half the price and take some leftovers home. I am not coming here again."

  • "I like the choice of types of food...not just Italian or just Asian. It is refreshing to have such a variety of types of food. Also....... a lot of customers were flooding into the restaurant @ 6:30 on March 22, including some larger groups. The lady behind the podium was doing a great job of finding a place for everyone. She remained cool and took time to be patient with each customer wanting to be seated. The wait staff was really hustling to clear and re-set the tables. I don't mind waiting when I see the staff doing their best to provide good service."

  • "Have been here many times. Food has always been delicious. This visit we had Ahi, crab cakes & Salmon. They were all wonderful! Definitely recommend to anyone. Make a reservation. Even with the reservation, we waited a little while."

  • "Went for a date night with the wife. Good service, great food and killer deserts. Dark ambiance but still plenty of energy. Will definitely be returning for date-night. Guys - great bar location to chill, ladies would make a great girls-night-out. If I had to find one thing that wasn't "outstanding" I would say the drinks. My wife had a specialty martini and it was pretty good. I ordered a mojito and it just wasn't good. Otherwise, all other elements were outstanding. Like I said, will be returning again."

  • "This used to be a good place to go eat with great service...not anymore. Food is salty and service is horribly slow. Would not recommend."

  • "WCG is one of our favorites! Seemed to not be as good as usual. Spit turkey seemed to be all skins/end! And egg rolls were really greasy this time... normally don't have these issues... But food was still good and service was great."

  • "This is our 3rd time visiting this White Chocolate Grill. I love the food, and the service is always great. The servers are very patient with and they don't try to rush when your ordering. Our server was very patient when my boyfriend couldn't make up his mind on what type of Whiskey he wanted. The server went the extra mile and brought him an additional drink menu to assist him in his decision. I just want to thank Sue our server for her exceptional service. We will be back again and next time I will leave room for dessert."

  • "I eagerly anticipated trying this restaurant and now I can move on to other places. The food was good but not outstanding, and the portions were small for the price. The entire experience was underwhelming. We were seated in a booth where the table rose to our armpits (way too high!) and the restaurant was very chilly. The meal did not impress me. Doesn't every restaurant offer something to nibble on while waiting for your main course (bread, breadsticks, anything?) My husband's entrée was very bare on the plate. A piece of mahi and a scoop of potatoes. No side veggie (how much do vegetables cost?), no parsley, nothing. The saddest $24 dinner I have ever seen. My salad with chicken was tasty but small and unmemorable."

  • "We visited White Chocolate Grill to celebrate the birthday of one of our friends. When we were first seated, we noticed a draft blowing down directly above out table. After bringing this to our servers attention, she quickly had our table moved to a more comfortable location. The appetizers were good. We ordered the egg rolls, recommended by the server, and the artichoke dip. The service was excellent. Everyone in our group was pleased with their entree and drinks. The table shared the cheesecake for dessert, which was also excellent."

  • "When I came in I was pleasantly surprise by the look of the place. Being a first time diner I didn't know what to expect but it was a very nice interior. The bar was very colorful and vibrant. The waitress we had was nice and knowledgable. She was present but not intrusive which I appreciated. The food was excellent, there was enough so that I had to take a little home with me. The environment was mature and professional. Great place to go."
