Westend Bistro DCSwankWestend was an awesome experience. We decided to go with a friend who was from out of town and were so excited when we left. It is not a cheap meal to say the least, but it is definitely worth every penny. We decided to get a few different dishes and eat it tapas style. All of the dishes are beyond delish! Each one is also so creative but completely perfect. The wine list is extensive and the waitress knew what she was talking about when we asked questions, which is always a plus in my book. Also, if you want to trick your significant other (or yourself) into actually liking brussel sprouts- get the side order of them here because they were on point.5/19/2013 12:00:00 AMGoing the extra mileWe are somewhat regulars here and find that the restaurant management is very committed to pleasing its customers. For example, some menu items we like were discontinued. It was our first time. We were definitely not disappointed! I had the (Butter) Fish special and he had the steak -- both wonderful! We also loved the mac n cheese, and the s'mores dessert was fun -- and really good!

park to the West side of the city. We had an early dinner and
found the service to be exceptional and the food almost as good.
The highlights were the skate wing and the special desert we split.

Got there a bit late (called in advance) because of the awful storm, shown to a table but when I asked for a nearby booth they made the switch. Helpful server, good food. We'll return. Only glitch was valet parking. The line was so long on arrival and we were running late, so we used self-park, which turns out not to be run by the hotel. Instead of costing $8, we were hit with a $26 bill. It might be helpful to clarify that on the restaurant Website.
