  We had a great time on Mother's Day! The service was great, the table was nice but you all ran out of programs so we didn't play the horses until our hostess found us 1 program for the 3 of us to share. Due to the high volume of people for the Mother's Day event, My mom and I did not get to the main food area due to the extremely long line so we ate at the salad and pasta bar and enjoyed the dessert bar. We plan on coming back next year for Mother;s Day but will come earlier. We also plan on coming again on a off day and not a holiday or busy day for the Skyline Terrace.   My wife and I celebrated Mothers Day alone on the night before. Alaskan Halibut was a special on this night, and we knew that this kitchen delivers miracles with seafood. We added a special request for a Carpaccio appetizer which we knew would be a stunning presentation from Chef John Harder. The carpaccio was superb, served on a platter "painted" with dijon, and accompanied by parmasan cheese and roasted capers, along with a small spinach salad treated with a honey dijon dressing. A perfect presentation!! The Halibut, with a hibiscus lime sauce and "sushi" vegatables was splendid, as was the artisan pasta (goat cheese ravioli with a pine nut sauce). All of this served up by McLean, who is the best of the best among waiters....More
