"Took my son on a Tuesday night for his birthday pre theatre and had a delicious meal. Half of what it would have cost just a few blocks away. Not inexpensive but I have no complaints about either food or service. Pristine surroundings and an attentive staff. I would recommend it to friends and return myself. We were the only patrons at that early hour and hope others will soon discover this great spot!"

"I went there recently for my girlfriend's birthday because she wanted steak and I wanted to try out a place in the neighborhood. The steaks were very tasty and perfectly cooked to order. The sides and salads were great as well. For the price, this is probably the best value in Manhattan for what you get. This is a good place for a low key meal in a nice atmosphere and you can count on good food. The restaurant itself is not too big (its not too small either), which is nice because even at full capacity, you can converse with everyone at your table at a normal volume. The restaurant is clean, the staff was very friendly, so given all of the above, it was a very pleasant dining experience overall. I will definitely be back!"

"It's a steakhouse. So, I'm glad to report that the porterhouse for two was excellent.It had the good mineral-like zing that good steak should have. All the sides and appetizers, however, were poor. The fried calamari and French fires were greasy and undercooked. Both lacked crispness. The same was true of the bacon-wrapped scallops. Particularly annoying was this: there was no front-of-house person to check reservations. This was done by one of two waitresses. The restaurant was not particularly business. So one of the two waitresses sat at a table almost directly behind ours and used her laptop most of the time.All in all, not a terrible experience, but hardly worth the cheaper-than-Palm-Lugers prices. Indeed, you get what you pay for."

"I was staying close by at the Yotel and used opentable to find a nearby. We were the only couple eating, few ppl at bar. Had Ceasar salad to share to start. The restaurant was dimly lit very romantic for me and my boyfriends visit. We also noticed they changed the background music to some r&b which was extremely nice we thought assuming they did that for us. My boyfriend ordered the filet and 2 lobster tails I ordered the Chilean seabass and we got creamed spinach and garlic mash potatoes to share. The wine was excellent it was a Cabernet Sauvignon. It seemed as tho it was taking longer than expected. The steak was excellent, lobster could use more flavor, seabass great, soupy in the plate though. Sides were good. Overall nice experience."

"I made a reservation for valentines do my boyfriend and I and it was exactly what I expected based on the reviews I read. It was my first time eating there. It was romantic , the service was great and the food was great . Our waitress was very nice and attentive because even though she was doing something else she always made eye contact from afar to indicate that she is ready to be called upon. I'm very indecisive when looking at a menu so it was nice that she was very patient in giving time to decide without showing inpatients . she had to come back a few times to ask if I'm ready And I loved that she was patient . The setting was exactly what I was looking for on valentines day... Romantic. I would recommend this resturant for couples."

"I wasn't sure what the food would be like when I looked at the menu because you just don't see too many $27 filets in Manhattan, but my filet was fantastic. Overall the food was good, although my lobster tail was a little bit dry. I thought the bacon wrapped scallops were just average as well. This is a great spot to hit if you're going to see a show right after, as it's 2 blocks away from the theater district. Very reasonable as well. Filets with lobster tails, apps, and two bottles of wine for about $200 after tip"

"Pleasant surprise. We got there 15 mins late for a 730p Friday night reservation and had no trouble finding a table. We at one point were the only patrons at the place, though by the time we left the place had filled up. Its a strange space, and it doesn't look or feel like proper steakhouse. It the food was surprisingly good, especially considering the prices. The slab bacon was tasty if salty, the strip steak was a decent size cut and not over seasoned, and the fries side was good. The creamed spinach is to be avoided and the mushrooms were eh. I actually would go back."

"We really enjoyed the food but the overall experience was marred by the fact the tip was automatically added to the bill(2 people). I probably would have given a bigger tip. The customer should decide how much tip to give. Also a staff member, possibly the manager, kept going out and smoking at the entrance. The smoke was blowing inside- not pleasant."
