"A first visit that we enjoyed the very much. The menu has interesting fresh choices from local growers. Our Brentwood Salad featured a huge variety of fruit and vegetable species mixed artfully. I had the Lobster Mac N Cheese which was refreshingly light and topped with dab of lobster bisque. My date enjoyed her quail and our Chedder Brulee was interesting as an additional starter. A small hiccup, a 2nd glass of wine failed to materialize for about 15 minutes, prompting us to cancel it - as the quail was long gone.

Positioned on the rooftop of the Angeleno Hotel, West astounds with views of the 405 freeway, downtown LA and on clear evenings, the Pacific. Active Lounge Scene and clever lighting plan make for a fun nightcap venue."

"Great Facility, they need to upgrade and expand menu. Improving staff energy (service level) would greatly maximize the experience. Wonderful location with views over los angeles. Has potential to be one of the nicest restaurant & lounges in los angeles."

"Nice brunch but be warned A LOT of hotel guests bring their children so the setting isn't as serene as you might expect. I had the omelet which was okay but my boyfriend had the Crab Cakes Benedict and thought it was spectacular. We'll definitely visit on a less gloomy day next time to check out the view."

"Mixed bag. I had a great beet salad but our meat was seriously underdone. I noticed another diner sending her meat back as well. I recommend this as a place for drinks and appetizers - they seem to do best with those."
