"WE always enjoy the dining room at the Wentworth. For a 4 star resort though, the service should be more attentive, or maybe it is that they need more service staff in the dining room. When the server finally gets to you, they are wonderful, but at this level you should not always feel like "when will the server come back". Food and ambiance are nice."

"Although the location is spectaular on a clear day, the food was a bit tired inside. The lobster bisque excellent but the lobster salad ruined with a balsamic vinagrette poured over it, and the chocolate fondue for two overpriced for the paltry offering."

"We noted, on line that dress was Business Casual. We dressed accordingly and were surprised to see jenes and tee shirts in the dining room especially on a Fri night. To us it took away the special ambiance. The food was very good but too much salt in wilted greens etc."

"Food was pre-made cafeteria style. Ordered appetizers and they came out 30 seconds later. Also, we received the wrong apps at first. Mashed potatoes tasted like instant. Putting a filet on top of greens that are not seasoned and not edible...really??? Awful food, good service, would not recommend. Lobster on top of my wife's cod tasted like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for the entire day. Dried out. Fish same way. She barely touched her meal."

"The perfect place to celebrate our daughter's engagement! The festive holdiday setting made it especially lovely.The food was excellent & beautifully presented. The lobster bisque second to none! The service was also very good. One person out of our party of seven found his food not hot enough. This was corrected quickly and graciously. We definitely plan to have another Wentworth by the Sea experience!"

"Upon arrival my wife and I were impressed by the Wentworth, which is absolutely beautiful both in design and atmosphere. We XC ski at the Mt. Washington Hotel and felt this hotel was very similar and exuded the same feeling of the Grand Hotels, both elegant and romantic. For our dinner we had a fixed menu selection as it was New Year's Eve. Started with a great a lobster bisque, followed by shrimp cocktail, main couse of mouth watering steak/lobster tail, and a delicious chocolate creme brulee. Well presented and absolutely superb service as each step by the staff was properly timed and did not break the mood of our discussion. It is expensive but you get what you pay for. It was a special evening and extremely satisfying in all respect"

"We have come to Wentworth By The Sea a number of times over the years--mostly for special occassions. The food and experience has always been very good and it keeps us coming back."
