Wence's RestaurantNice but noisyThe food was very good and the waitress and staff very attentive. The only problem, but it was significant, was the noise level. We ate indoors but, in retrospect, dining outside would probably have been better -- it was a nice warm evening. The noise level inside was terrible making it hard to hear each other and hard to hear/understand the staff. This was to the point that requests were misunderstood or had to be repeated in a louder voice. Even as the restaurant emptied out the noise level from the few remaining tables was problematic. Wine list needs a little work. Selection wasn't that great. Ordered a bottle of chardonnay and the server/bar tender just poured two glasses without having either one of us check to see if it was any good. Also, wine bottle was not put in a wine bucket or cooler even though it was a chardonnay which is served chilled.

Not knowing the restaurant but purely based on reviews, we chose Wence's Restaurant. I am glad we did. The food was amazingly delicious. The service was spot on. We had 2 infants and 2 toddlers and they catered to them just as well as to us. We even got to see the chef who brought out the final dish for our guest (my husband). We were very pleased with the entire experience as was our entire party (out of towners included). We will certainly venture back here for a date night to check out the scene. Thank you for giving us a wonderful experience.
