  • "We had an enjoyable meal. We sat outside on a beautiful Easter Sunday. Our server did a fine job. Two of us ordered the Iron Skillet and while I enjoyed the brisket and the peppers mixed in, my companion said hers was good, but could have been more flavorful. I had no complaints and the eggs were cooked properly and were not overly runny. We finished with the mini dessert sundae and bundt cake and thought all was excellent. We look forward to returning."

  • "I was treated to dinner at Weber Grill. It was my first time. Once I tasted the food I knew I had to take my husband. I've now been to 2 different Weber Grill restaurants and at both, the wait staff was wonderful, they know how to take care of all types of customers, and the food was excellent. I would like to take the grilling classes but it's a bit more than I can afford. Looks like lunch may be reasonably price. My husband & I splurged on Easter dinner. All the food awakened my palate to delightful flavors, even the next day. We plan to return."

  • "We had a fantastic time at the Weber Grill. The food was delicious and our server was very attentive and knowledgeable. We had a reservation and were quickly seated. Everyone enjoyed their meal and when the check came the restaurant included a recipe card so we could try to make something at home. This was a fun little bonus! I will definitely go back to this restaurant!"

  • "Wish I coulda gone back in time and gone elsewhere for Easter brunch. Our food was below average to average depending on dish. On a holiday weekend especially and with the prices they charge, the food should be much better- specifically, I would like our food warm. I ordered eggs benedict and both the ham and the egg were cold. Not warm. Cold. Of all the ways a modern kitchen could heat and keep food heated, how a dish could be served in such a manner is beyond me. It was cooked- just cooked an hour earlier. If you'd microwaved it a few seconds, you'll probably fool me. But instead I paid for something that I could have duplicated at home- only at home I would've warmed it up. Disappointing and I don't see us coming back. Y bother"

  • "Our meal was very good, everyone was very satisfied. Crab Cakes are excellent so I was happy that I chose them. Family members were very happy with salmon and tilapia choices....it was Good Friday and we were taking daughter out for birthday meal.....so everyone chose fish. Except our vegan who was very impressed with the veggie burger which is hand made, not a frozen commercial one. We'll definitely be back."

I also take issue with servers that do not handle my plate properly (e.g. putting their thumb on the plate). It is not proper food handling etiquette and also not proper food handling safety."

  • "Food was really good except for a few sides that came out less than hot. Two of us at the table are gluten free and ordered off the gluten free menu. They do a good job with that. On some of the regular orders a few of the side dishes were Luke warm, such as the macaroni and cheese and one order of French fries. Our server was not very attentive, and seeing that we were there celebrating a birthday that was disappointing. I have had better service at other times. If this were the first time I was there I would not have gone back."

  • "I've been to several Weber restaurants in the Chicagoland area and I think the food is all right. We went to the Lombard Weber Grill this time and the service was terrible. Everything took a long time for the wait staff to do the moment we sat down. 20 min waiting for someone to take our order. Our food took over half an hour to come out. It was not busy at all for dinner. My children were starving because they waited so long. Does grilled food really take that long??? Oh, they had no problem getting our check to us on time though. Lombard has other restaurants that I would have enjoyed spending my time and money at."

  • "We picked Weber Grill because we wanted a good steak, and we were able to get a reservation for our group of four at the last minute. When we arrived, we had to wait about 10 minutes. Our table was in the center of a small dining room. The noise level was so loud in there that we could not hear our server, let alone have a conversation amongst our group. My husband ordered Blue Moon with orange juice. The server brought out his beer with five orange slices. They were out of juice on a Sat. night. They were also out of martini glasses. I was served mine in a small juice glass. Other than the noisy room and minor drink setbacks, the food was good. We will probably visit again, but we will make sure we are seated in the main dining area."

  • "The salmon was outstanding, done just right and the veggies were prepared perfectly. The beef kabobs were also tender and cooked to perfection. However, the wine list is very disappointing as Weber Grill refuses to list any wines from France. Why ? Not everyone enjoys California wines and what would it take to offer a red and white from Bordeaux and Bourgogne. Until your wine selection equals your food selections, it cannot be a place for a special occasion."

  • "I had the combo platter with ribs and meatloaf with mashed potatoes and cole slaw with blue cheese and pecans. The ribs were so tender and tasty. The meatloaf was really good. The potatoes were a little too heavy for me, but I really liked the cole slaw. HOWEVER! The place was very loud. The tables were so close together, I actually hit elbows with the person at the table behind me. The food was pricey but it was tasty and good quality. If I were to eat there again, it would be for carry-out."

The only down side for me was the cost, a little bit pricey for my budget. I will probably go only on special occassions."

  • "We met some friends for dinner. It is always a challenge to find a restaurant that can handle my two young boys. This place was great! The boys did not bother any other diners because tables were spread out and the noise level was energetic. My biggest problem with any restaurant is the kiddie menu. If anyone thinks that hot dogs and nuggets are okay for dinning, they are wrong. I will say that I will FOR SURE return to this restaurant because of the kids menu. A great variety of veggies and fruit. They picked the steak skewers. OMG, they were great! Our server was amazing! Our food was great!!"

  • "The only good item on the Sampler Platter was the Dijon Chicken, CrabCake was heavily breaded and dry, Steak Medallions were 6ea.chip chunks of waste cut meat and tough. Shrimp were advertised a large and were less than Medium and only 3 on a skewer, Chintzy. Grilled Asparagus had not even been trimmed and the bases were grocery store tough and dried out. Baked potato arrived without butter or sour cream on the side, Luckily I had some left-over butter from the pretzel rolls, The Garden Mixed Green salad tasted like it came from a bag, Tomato and Onion Salad was a good intro but the rest of the meal was off, and for $ 72 for 2 it should have been better."

Quick to start the drink service and with rolls for the table Great menu selections and the food was well seasoned. While walking out I noticed how lively the bar area was. It's separated from the main restaurant area, which allows it to get a little louder without disturbing dining guests. I will definitely come again."

  • "My family and I loved the comfortable warm atmosphere. The tables and were nicely spaced. The round table we ate at was great for our family of 5. We were pleasantly surprised when a basket of pretzel rolls was brought to our table, delicious! The menu has a great variety of entrée options, amazing brisket! The service was comfortably passed and even though it was a busy Sat. night, we never felt rushed. We would definitely dine here again with our 3 teenage boys."

  • "I made a reservation on Saturday for 6:45pm for a party of 2 BUT we were not seated till 7:09pm, even thou there were other parties that had reservations made for 7:00pm and were seated right away. I am comparing the other parties that had only 2 in their party like myself. This is the 2nd time this has happened to us. When I asked the lady who was running that area she could not give me a defiant answer BUT it was funny that we were seated right away once the issue was brought to her attention. I just think that they overlooked our reservation once again. This is the only thing I am disappointed about this restaurant. Due to this I have lowered the overall rating by one star to (3) since there is no catagory for this above."

  • "Normally I have a great experience at Weber grill. This time my fiance and I ordered the New York Strip. Her's came to the table perfect. Mine looked sub-par. It was cooked to perfection, it just did not have the quality I expected for Weber Grill (and one of their most expensive items). It was much smaller then my fiance's cut and littered with fat that I kept biting into. The service and ambiance was great, I just feel cheated by the cut of steak I received."

  • "Went there for my husband's birthday. We were seated next to a huge party and asked to be moved so we could hear each other. Apparently the table we moved to was some kind of service black hole. Our original server seemed to have every table in the room besides the one we moved to. So we watched everyone around us generally get much, much faster service. When we did get our server, he was very nice but he would cut us off or walk away mid-conversation, he seemed so rushed. The prices are high enough not to have all these mishaps. They were out of water carafes, they were out of rolls, no way to dry your hands in the restroom, 30+ min wait to get our check. Food was good enough to go back but maybe not another special occasion."

  • "Ya know, I really remember liking Weber grill. Myself and 3 others dined at Weber for a normal outing. Nothing special. Four of us, appetizer, 2 drinks (total). $160. It was just quite pricey for average quality. Kabobs were prepped well In advance and it shows. My tilapia was ok. Server was great, fast and attentive. Just not worth the price. With so many choices in the area and for steaks; I would try something else in the Future."
