I went for brunch with a friend and I think they had a great balance of a sports bar atmosphere and a cute little sit down restaurant. The service was great and the drink specials were also very good.

The worst bar food you can imagine. I guessing the only reason they're open is because of their proximity to Soldier Field. I ordered their chicken nachos which was basically extremely dried out chicken and black beans. I had to order a special cup of salsa to get them down. I almost ordered the steak but the waitress's advised that the steak gets dried out!! I can't even imagine!!

We ate here before a concert at soldier field. They took reservations and got us right in. Server was very friendly and mindful of our time constraint. Service was great as was the food. We had California dreaming pizza and a take on a taco salad. They were excellent ! I would definitely come back and recommend to others !

Was looking for something fairly close (20 minute walk) to our hotel with a varied menu and we found it. It was a little noisy, but there was a birthday celebration in progress when we got there. Had the fish and chips which were amazing. Will go back next time I'm in Chicago and have the fish and chips again.

We caught it on an off night. After waiting 45 minutes for food, we left. We were going to Northerly Island for a concert and couldn't wait any longer. The restaurant didn't charge us for drinks and dinner salads which was nice. They said that two cooks hadn't shown for work. The noise level was also too much for a conversation.

Despite the reservations I had made and the mostly empty restaurant, the Weather Mark was very understaffed. It took over an hour to get our food, most of which consisted of basic egg entrees. Our group never got refills on water or coffee. This was after the waitress came back to our table to reassure us that fresh coffee was being made. After nearly an hour of waiting, one of the men in our group went to ask if there was a reason for the delay and was snapped at by the waitress. If this had been the first time the Weather Mark had not turned out well, I would give it a pass as an off day. However, we have received poor service there on more than one occasion. I'd say more but I'm running out of characters. I won't be going back.

...they had $5 bloody Mary's and screw drivers (both very good) and draft beer specials, so that was a nice surprise. Food was pretty good (breakfast and lunch) and very reasonably priced. Service was good as well. It was Mother's Day but there was hardly anyone there, so the atmosphere wasn't very vibrant.

If you're looking for a uniquely themed, local spot with a fun atmostphere, this is your place! The food is average to above average for a casual bar and the menu isn't super creative, but the menu is big enough and has enough variety that everyone can find at least a few items that will intrigue them. Satisfying place to go before walking down 18th St to head to Soldier Field!

This was our first visit to Weather Mark. We were one of maybe 5 people in the entire restaurant. The waitress was nice enough but seemed to not have heard our requests so we had to keep repeating things. The chef came out to ask about our meal and he was nice enough but the meal was just so-so.

The food was good but they were out of the beers and wines that we wanted, and the server couldn't make recommendations about alternatives. But getting lunch at the convention center is pretty limited, this is close by, and so it's fairly convenient. Plus they had a fairly light lunch crowd so it was good to have a lunch meeting where it was easy to talk and hear.

Kind of like a nautical themed, Lincoln Park sports bar. Large menu with some interesting offerings. All the usual beers with a few craft brews thrown in. A variety of seating types from high tops, to couches, to the bar stools, etc. Friendly enough and a way to pass the time if you're in the area but nothing to go out of the way for.

This is a great neighborhood hot spot. The food was outstanding while the menu offered numerous options to please all. We enjoyed the nautical theme, which was just enough for a fun atmosphere and not overdone. Based on the activity in the place, this would be an excellent choice to come for a full meal, some bar bites with friends, or simply drinks. One cannot go wrong with the sausage stuffed mushrooms in cheese fondue with dipping bread! The cocktail list also looks quite tasty.

My friends and I went there last Friday for fry since it was Lent. All TVs were showing March Madness games with one showing the Bulls game. Aside from the big screen, the other TVs are way too small to be able to see. Now, I understand it's March Madness and all but at least have the Chicago Pro games on at least one TV. The Blackhawks were on at the same time and that game was not on any TV. 4 out of 5 us ordered the fish and about 45 mins later we finally got it while watching people who walked in after us get served the fish first. then the food was only warm not hot like you would expect something fried to be! Oh and we were the only Asians in the place, just saying... Next was the food, four out of five of us o
