"THe food, other than the starters, was excellant. Since we dined early, there were very few patrons. The service, however, did not reflect this. It took 20 minutes to get a bottle of wine opened ($180) and the waiter's just stood around. They actually forgot our vegetable order. WHen I stated we no longer needed this, they brought it after the meal "on the house". (Broccoli for dessert was not on the menu!) They substituted an apply crukmble, instead. Beautiful view, main courses were wonderful, great - but pricey - wine list."

"The wait staff was very attentive and friendly. The food could have been better. We ordered the prix fixe, which I noticed when going to the restaurant website. It was not presented with the menu and only when I indicated my interest was the prix fixe menu provided.
The lobster bisque was plain and ordinary. The salad in itself was nicely presented with the greens bunched and wrapped by a thin slice of carrot. Unfortunately, only the slightest drizzle of dressing was applied and we had to request additional. The duck brest and salmon were delicious and the chocolate lava cake finished things nicely. A complimentary bottle of wine was included and we were delighted with our choice of a reisling. Great view of Manhattan from the East River."
