Exquisite food and dessert, ate way too much but loved it all. Would love to see a more varied wine list from other countries on the "By the Glass" menu. It's nice to showcase Okanagan wine but they are not my go to wines.

We were a group of 5 and were able to sit outside on a warm evening and enjoy an excellent dinner. Our server Kate was very most helpful and added to our good dining experience. I had a beet salad to start that was beautifully arranged on the plate and delicious. The menu is not huge, but something for everybody. 3 of us had the skirt steak which was excellent. We would definitely recommend this restaurant.

We occasionally eat at Waterfront Wines but generally find it noisy. But we had friends visiting from Vancouver (foodies) who were aware of Waterfront Wines and really wanted to eat there. First, despite always reserving days or weeks in advance asking for patio seating if possible, we have never been able to eat outside. Second, we were sooo crowded. Our waiter had a very difficult time getting close to our table to speak to and serve us. The waiter from the next table kept bumping into a person at our table as he tried to access the table he was serving. He splashed water on this person as he tried to reach his table. As usual, way too noisy for our liking. Two plates were very good, the two halibut plates were OK but not great.

We ordered steelhead trout ($29) & lamb short rack ($32). The steelhead trout was perfectly made, tasteful, and well organized on plate with fresh veggie. The food portion is reasonable. However for the short rack of lamb, it was disappointing. The lamb was accurately cooked as medium rare. However, the marble fat of the two tiny pieces of lamb was too much & did not help to enhance appetite. The serving of the two small pieces of lamb rack is ridiculously small. There was the braised belly which was tender but too greasy. The falafels are stuffy but too stuffy… and could be better replaced by something more refreshing.. in conclusion, steelhead trout was a great choice but I made a mistaken when choosing the lamb, to bad for a $32 dish.

If you are looking for a great restaurant for awesome food & service, Waterfront Wines is THE place! Although they are not right on the waterfront, it is a very nice restaurant! This is not your average priced restaurant, it is pricey, but then you do get what you pay for! We will definitely go back! Everything, from the service, to the drinks, to the appies, to the meal & then, of course dessert, was amazing!!! You will not regret your visit to Waterfront Wines! :)

As the name suggests this resto offers a carefully selected and extensive wine list. A tasting was offered when I couldn't decide between a couple of wines. The creative menu produced a mixed result. The halibut was excellent but caulifower dish with it mediocre. Great to see sweetbreads on a menu. The fries were disappointingly soft and way to salty. The tapas plate with the added cheese spread was good. Prices on the high side. Service was welcoming and very helpful. The interior is small and tables are close together and the room does have a "buzz". Of note was that we did get street parking nearby but if there is an event on at The Forum that would be difficult.

Great Menu, always tasty daily specials. Everyone is very friendly that works in the restaurant. Food is very tasty. We have been there multiple times and never disappoints. Unfortunately we had a less than stellar server this time who never came around until is was time to pay the bill and leave a tip. But the rest of the staff pitched in and were accomodating. If you get a server with dark hair and a tonguw ring, you may want to new server. Too bad one person ruins it for everyone else that works there. Great food compensated for this times short falls.

We were recommended to try Waterfront. We are all very selective foodies. Right from the minute we got there, we had great service. We started with a shared platter which had delicious spreads on it. They even gave us gluten free crackers. We then ordered our meals. I ordered the daily special which was one of the best meals I've had in a while. The other 3 people I was with felt the same about our meal. We then ordered desert (flour less hazelnut cake with espresso and chocolate ice cream) which was just delicious. Our server Kerry was great too. Definitely recommend!!!

Attentive service, great food , love the decor. The shipping container kitchen kills me. Waterfront wines is an excellent venue. I haven't been here in years (living outside Kelowna) and I was glad to find this place expanded and got a facelift. The quality of the food, the plating and the execution of the dishes was superb. The service staff was professional and personable and maintained an excellent pace. The wine list is gold here!!! The wines we had were outstanding and very reasonably priced! Can't think of a single complaint or criticism from our visit. Well Done!

I had read so many wonderful views about Waterfront Wines online that we got the impression we couldn't visit Kelowna without stopping here for a casual, upscale dinner. The majority of the evening turned out to be a miss. We started with the Pomme Frites - They were fine. Not crazy about the lemon flavour in the dip as I felt it just wasn't a solid mix with the potato. Next was the soup of the evening - A prawn bisque. It was incredibly fishy. Not sure if this was how a prawn bisque should be as I am only familiar with lobster but I couldn't even finish the bowl. Lastly - My husband had the lamb. It was incredibly grisly and tough. Who knew lamb could be this low quality? Won't be returning.

I had a great time here. It was my first time at waterfront but I heard from friends that it was great so I thought i would try it out. The atmosphere and food were amazing, my only complaint is that the servers weren't as knowledgable as I would have liked. When presenting/describing the food they would stumble over their words or forget entirely what was in it. I was totally understanding because all the dishes were definitely a mouthful to describe but it was slightly irritating. Other than that, excellent!

I chose Waterfront Wines as the location for my birthday dinner and I must say it was one of the top birthday meals I've had in some time. I had high expectations going in and I was not disappointed. My partner also very much enjoyed his meal. Many times when I drag him out for a "foodie" meal he'll find the environment a bit too pretentious for his liking, but everything was very relaxed, inviting and friendly here. We will definitely be back.

Went for dinner with my son (a Chef) and very much enjoyed the multiple ingredients in every dish. We shared three appetizers the Octopus and squid were melt in your mouth tender, the stripped prawn risotto was amazingly light for a risotto and the scallops were perfectly cooked. I had the Halibut for a main and it was slightly over done but not dry and was delicious. Loved the BC wines overall a great night out.....
