Our visit to Waterfront W with friends from out of town was Exceptional. From the appy tray to mains of duck. Beef Cheek and Salmon to the truffles and desserts. We now understand why so many friends directed us their way. Wine list was strong and our server was well educated on the pairings. Not one for long reviews, but they deserve the accolades!!!

Tapas plate was the best part of the meal. Scallops were good but very small. Neither of us enjoyed our main courses. I had the lamb special and the lamb was tough and chewy. My wife had the ricotta cavatelli and it was doughy and tasteless. Portions were extremely small. Service was excellent and the wine list was also good, but as far as recommending to our friends we would not because the main courses were not good.

We had an amazing time at waterfront. Our server was amazing, the food outstanding and the wine was lovely. Chef Mark helped us pair a local white to our appies because my friend had a certain type of local Chardonnay he likes to drink! Mark knocked it out of the ballpark! Thank you thank you thank you

Our first visit to Waterfront was wonderful. Our waiter was completely attentive and treated us very well. He made us feel special that we were dining in this restaurant. The food was delicious, and we enjoyed a great bottle of wine from the comprehensive list. The only minor complaint I will make is that is was very loud, at times I could not even hear what my husband was saying across the table from me and it was difficult to hear our waiter at time as well. I would totally recommend this to anyone who loves fine dining and good wine.

Great service with knowledgable and friendly staff. The food tasted great. Our server recommended some great cheese selections. We were the last table on a week night and most of the kitchen staff had already left, but our server never made us feel like he was in a rush to get rid of us so that he could close up for the night. Our server came by often to refill our water and asked if we needed anything else. He also recommended things to do in town during our stay. Would come again the next time we are in town.

First time in Kelowna and BC in general. We read reviews about the restaurant and were amazed to see they won the gold plate award. We were sold and had a great time. The kitchen was run by about 5 young talented chefs who created a small well executed menu. Tapas/apps and about 6 entrees. We absolutely loved it prices were reasonable for a fine dining restaurant. Service was flawless, Kris was our server and did a great job. We will definitely return.

I appreciate (believe in) balance in food, from flavour to seasoning. Waterfront hits the mark. Superb warm service, great wine list - complete with many eclectic International selections. The Foie Gras covered in Gewurtraminer jelly was decadent and true, perfect balanced between the sweetness of jelly and rich liver pate. The Beef Cheek special was a richly flavoured beef dish which was balanced and refreshing, courtesy of the asian pear slaw, just a hint of peanuts. We enjoyed a spectular '08 Morgon Vielles Vignes from George Descombes -- in a perfect spot, spice scented fruits with earthy aromas and lively balanced palette and long length, a perfect accompaniment for the wonderfully balanced food their kitchen puts out. Salut!

Our server was very knowledgable and entertaining. Food was amazing - we had the charcuterie board to start and added to-die-for extra creamy brie cheese as suggested by our waitress. Meal was a perfectly seared halibut in a mushroom sauce - different but delicious. Wine recommended was amazing. I would go back.

My husband and I went here for dinner on the weekend and had a delicious 3 course meal. They were very open to modifying the menu to fit my needs as a celiac. The halibut with the risotto was delicious and gluten-free! The cocktail I ordered was not very good and I sent it back but they still charged us for it…however the wine I had instead was delicious!

What an excellent evening -as usual!! As locals foodies we know and appreciate the great food, modern upbeat atmosphere and excellent service at Waterfront Wines. For this visit we brought along our guests from the "Big" city. Every course was both beautiful to look at and wonderful to savour. Each of us had a favourite food experience for the evening -mine was the creme brulee style "crust" on the creme cheese accompanying my beet salad. We all agreed that the Fois Gras was amazing. Not only the best Fois Gras any of us had ever tasted, but one of the best appetizers we have ever had. Anybody and everybody who dines at Waterfront Wines should try the Fois Gras...and the Beet salad...and the...well you get the picture!

Our server was a bit jumpy and struggled to remember all the details about the food. The scallops were perfectly done, but at $15 I was disappointed to only see 2 on my plate and turned off by the carrot & pickle garnish. The pan roasted halibut with pakora cauliflower was creative, and I sopped up every last drop of the coconut sauce with the rice cakes. Unfortunately the halibut was a tad bit over cooked. Our greatest disappointment was my wife's soupy risotto which was her main. When asked if she was enjoying her meal she gave them her honest feedback, but the server put it on us to make the decision whether to send it back. That's just bad practice and why WaterFront fell below the bar this time. Great service makes a great restaurant.

Words cannot express our experience, we will gladly welcomed to the establishment. Seated immediately with our host ever so friendly and informative. Our hostess was delightful and cheery. Hubbie had their duck pate appie - he loved it and tried their tasty scallops - mmmmm. Hubbie had Orofino Syrah and I tried one of their cocktails - Castaway - loved the spice in the drink. We shared the main course (ling cod special - cooked to perfection and the veggies were delicious. We had a great time from beginning to end. Sorry to say we didn't have enough room for dessert, but we will be back next time in Kelowna!

We were recommended to Waterfront Wines by a winemaker we know who has a winery in Naramata Bench. He said it was one of the very best in Kelowna and we would have to agree!! There were 6 of us who shared numerous small plates and absolutely everything we had was delicious. Their wine list is excellent as well and the staff was very knowledgeable about them. We are only sorry we weren't in Kelowna for another few nights so we could have gone back again! Don't miss this place!

Our server was a blonde woman whose name escapes me but she was amazing. Very knowledgeable and friendly. We were very well taken care of and I would definitely come back. Lamb Croquettes were a little too small though. More of an Amuse bouche. My Halibut was perfect cooked as well as the scallops. One comment I heard though was that the person who ordered the lamb would have preferred it fanned or whole so she could cut it up herself. This person is a huge foodie! I love it.

Recommended by friends. It was delicious meal with lots of different flavors. We tried multiple appetizers and then shared a fall off the bone boneless beef rib. Fantastic use of the fresh produce in season, and love the culture of using local farmers in the menu. One of the features was a miss, the crab cake, which was more like a pancake. However, fantastic BC wine list and a beautiful Italian feature red (unfortunately cannot remember the grape). Will visit again when we are in town. Always make a reservation, it's busy almost any day of the week!
