When we arrived, we were promptly seated at a great table with a view of the lake. Our waiter was patient (5 women) and friendly without being too familiar. The food was really good. Two of us went with the Prix Fixe meal and we were very pleased. I opted for the NY strip steak, which was wonderfully seasoned and cooked perfectly. The other meals chosen were the rack lamb chops, the pasta with Lobster sauce and the Divers scallops. Everything was delicious and the portions were very generous. We will definitely go back there.4/26/2013 12:00:00 AMThe prix fixe lunch is basicallyThe prix fixe lunch is basically the same each time I go but the food is always very good (I especially like the garlic shrimp appetizer and the organic salmon main course). The service is excellent. My three friends and I celebrate our birthdays there and we have all gone at other times also.. The prix fixe price is good for what is offered except I think adding $4.00 for a tea bag is a bit much. He was professional, kind, attentive, and friendly. When I called him he was there in a quick flash with a smile on his face. The food was excellent and all of your staff from the parking attendant to the person who poured the water was excellent. You have a great staff. There is only one little comment. And Marino4/21/2013 12:00:00 AMA Lovely Dining ExperienceThis was one of the best dining experiences we have had in a very long time. So glad we chose it to celebrate my dad's milestone birthday. All four of us opted for the prix fix menu and it was OUTSTANDING. My mom said it was the best salmon she has ever had and my husband enjoyed his short ribs very much. My appetizer, stuffed mushrooms, was great. It was enough for a meal! Our server was charming, witty and friendly. They remembered it was my dad's birthday (many places would have forgotten) and when dessert was served, they included a candle, good wishes and more conversation. Only drawback was that at 7pm on a Saturday night we were the youngest couple there. I guess this place is more for the older crowd which is fine but typically we like to be where the younger crowds good. The food is prepared well and served in a timely manner-not too rushed and timed just right. There are round tables for large parties and small tables that make it intimate for a party of two. The quality and selection of food and wine is exemplary.
