  • Bring back the meatloaf!

While my experience was good, the only reason I came here was for the bacon-wrapped meatloaf which is no longer on the menu. That was disappointing!

We went for the first time because we had a gift card, at first we were worried about how it would be because on the inside it looks like a rundown old building, surrounded by lots of other run down old buildings. Going inside we were pleasantly surprised about the warm, inviting atmosphere. I got a few beers, and a blt wrap. The beers, which are brewed on site in the front window, were very good, the wrap was just ok. My wife got fish and chips and it was outstanding! We had just been to an Oceanside seafood place last week, and she felt the fish was better at Watch city. We also had 2 very good waiters, who were attentive and friendly. My wife was disappointed her soda remained empty and no refill was given. (Empty drinks annoy her)

We celebrated Mother's Day here with folks ranging from age 11 to 90, and everyone found something on the menu that they liked. The portions were huge. The calamari appetizer was particular good -- so lightly fried it was heavenly. Breakfast until 3 was a big hit!

I had a group of 11 that they were able to easily accommodate on a Sunday for lunch. We all had sandwiches and burgers which were just average but the locally brewed beer was good and the price is very reasonable. I would eat/drink here again.

I went to brunch at Watch City Brewing Co. Despite being a brewery, it's pretty family friendly. It delivers consistently on food and service. The prices offer value. I would recommend this place.

This restaurant is basically tables and a few booths around the outside of the room and a huge bar in the middle. Very noisy as the acoustics are terrible. No atmosphere, (it's a brewpub!) I have had one good meal (fish) there, and one bad (burger) one. One waiter was great, and the next waitress was bad, so I guess it's luck of the draw. Not romantic, not for foodies, and certainly no scenic view.

We were looking for a light bite after a movie. The menu was varied, the food was very good and the service impeccable. It was helpful to be able to make a reservation for a Sat. Night. We would definitely return.
