WasabisabiBest Marriage Proposal EverWasabisabi is the place my fiance and I had our first date, I decided it was the best place to ask her the BIG question. I went online and reserved our time slot also indicated on special instruction my intention for the evening. I bought flowers on the online shop associated with there web site with a special note to be deliver for our meal time (They where on the table when we arrived). The manager called my cell asking if there was more they could do earlier that day..(who does that anymore wow). They placed us in a private area with candles. Not only was the food the best sushi, dessert and wine selection ever the staff was impeccable which makes the difference. Highly recommended by us and we intend to visit here for years to come...5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMSushi and more, much moreLooks uninspiring from the outside, but, like the Tardis, it's huge inside: modern decor with an oriental flavour. Mostly efficient service, the incorrect first dish was quickly replaced. The food is excellent, beautifully presented, well paced and a wonderful variety of flavours. Tip: don't bother with the menu, ask the chef to provide a meal, you will not be disappointed. We had a meal for six for about $40 a head (for the food, excluding drinks). Wine list is good, but expensive ($40 and up) as are cocktails. A great place for a relaxed, sociable meal.5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMDinner for twoThis was our anniversary dinner. It was delicious. I am Celiac and my husband is a novice sushi eater but that didn't stop us from having one of the best meals we've had in a long time. Thanks to the kitchen for altering my meal and to our waiter who was helpfull and friendly!5/4/2013 12:00:00 AM
