Ward's House of PrimeSuperb Prime Rib!This restaurant makes its name for their various (large) cuts of prime rib and they sure do know how to cook this meat to perfection. My husband ordered the 16oz prime rib. Came out a wonderful medium rare and since he let me take a few bites, it was probably the best prime rib I have had (I seriously love prime rib). So silky, buttery and full of flavor. I on the other hand ordered a special; 6oz filet accompanied by mushroom ravioli (3). My steak was also cooked to a perfect medium rare and the ravioli had a very earthy mushroom flavor; delicious. Our server Meghan was great and made our first experience at Ward's very personable and pleasant. The chocolate cake for dessert accompanied our bottle of Cabernet well. I'm so glad we did. My husband loved his prime rib. I had the sea bass (a very generous portion size) and it was the best I've ever had! Their double baked potatoes were delicious also. Our server even gave us free dessert because it was our first time there. The service at the table was a bit less attentive than we had expected though for a restaurant of this type. Our server had several tables and one larger table so she didn't check back with us as often as we would have liked. The prime rib is as good as you can get anywhere and the filet is top notch. Quality wine list by the glass. Upscale dining room in appearance. It was "like butter" and the seasonings were fantastic. The restaurant was perfect. The tables were ideally spaced so that you weren't right on top of the person behind you, and the chairs were very comfortable. Our servers were very friendly. extended out so far that when walking by the table you had to be careful
not to trip over him. He sat this way for the entire meal and could not have
been any more obnoxious.
Hard to believe anyone would go to an outstanding restaurant like this and
allow their kid to behave like such an idiot.
Otherwise the experience was incredible, can't blame the restaurant for anything.

The two dining rooms provide comfort, relaxation, ambiance, and romance. The staff goes out of their way to ensure you have the best service and work hard to meet your every need. The selection of food fits everyone's appetite from the perfectly breaded and cooked calamari to the delicious warm bread and perfectly cooked steaks and fish. The Brewer game was on, not a place for the Brewer game. We were out for a romantic dinner for my husbands birthday. I did not know that Ward's was a sports bar.
