  • "Check out Gennine Jackson on Sundays in the patio! She's is an amazing singer and wonderful person! Wang's food is great chinese in the dessert, plus the bar scene is fun. Overall Wang's is a great place to go!"
    Dined on 7/19/2014
  • "Waiter a bit cold, but the food was very good. Bar noise way too loud for quite dining."
    Dined on 7/18/2014
  • "Always good food here - better than any chain - irritating that the hostess set us on a high trsvel area if the restaurant when there were other options - nite to self - demand a better table next time - we had a reservation and they weren't that busy"
    Dined on 7/5/2014
  • "We had Levy as our server again which always makes dinner a good experience. Green curry chicken, shrimp and chicken duet, Szechuan beef, all delicious. We had a slight snag at the bar, but the managers are great and make everything right."

  • "My friend from NY said it's the best Chinese he's had east of the Hudson!"

  • "We've been coming to Wang's for quite a few years. Often for special occasions, other times with friends. I always make a reservation on OpenTable with a note about the birthday. Prior to this year, they've always made a point to wish my partner a happy birthday & bring dessert at the end of the meal. This year, no recognition at all. The server was horrible from beginning to end. We had him before & he is awkward, unfriendly & shouldn't be in food service. He wouldn't look our way when he was nearby. The prices have gone way up & they're changing recipes that were fine to begin with. I spoke to the manager on our way out & his total lack of empathy/concern for making the dinner special for the b-day girl was upsetting. We won't be back."

  • "Wangs remains our favorite chinese restaurant in the desert. The bar scene, especially friday nights, for happy hour is crowded and exciting. The restaurant is somewhat noisy on fridays, but the service and food remain very good."
    Dined on 6/27/2014
  • "the chinese food at Wang's was very decent. Thanks for seating us so promptly and for the fun time"
    Dined on 6/20/2014
  • "Levy is always friendly and makes the evening enjoyable. The special Szcechan Beef is delicious, all the dishes aer consistently good. Friday Happy Hour is always busy and fun. A good way to kick off the weekend in PS."

  • "I found the restaurant looking very dated. The interior really needs to be freshened up. The food was good but not great and the prices were very high. I went during happy hour time and the bar area was very crowded because of the low price for drinks. There are many chinese restaurants in the area with great food at lower prices. This restaurant needs some serious updating."
    Dined on 6/13/2014
  • "Great dining experience. We were seated when we arrived, no waiting. Food and service was exceptional. The only draw back to the entire experience was the noise level, which of course cannot be avoided when there's a full house."
    Dined on 6/12/2014
  • "Its been a long time since we've been here but as usual, the food is great. Just looking at the foods, I think I can make it better at home. I'm a good cook and by looking, I can make it better."
    Dined on 6/9/2014
  • "The meal was awesome! The flavors in each dish was perfect, and I would recommend the dim sum appetizer.......to die for!!! Cocktails were excellent. Every visit is great and so consistant in service andv quality."
    Dined on 6/7/2014
  • "The food was quite good but the service was just awful. Can't say this was true for the whole restaurant perhaps we got a bad waiter on a bad night. "
    Dined on 5/31/2014
  • "The noise level is high, probably depending upon where you are sitting. It's difficult to have a conversation without being loud, which means you also hear the conversations near you. However, the food and drinks are great and more than makes up for it."
    Dined on 5/31/2014
  • "Like many restaurants these days, the noise level is super high which I don't care for. Don't like having to yell at my dinner companions to be understood. The food was a mixed bag. My Pad Thai noodles were great, the ribs were not so good. Portion size was good. Service was a bit slow even though the restaurant wasn't super busy."
    Dined on 5/31/2014
  • "Our food was not as good as previous nights. The saving grace is your fabulous entertainment. It made up for a sub par dining experience. "
    Dined on 5/31/2014
  • "We have eaten here numerous times and everything was spot on. Not sure what happened on this evening but they were not busy as it was getting late but the food was completely different. Nothing really had any taste and the fried rice was the best part so that should say something. Will give them one more shot but nothing beyond that. "
    Dined on 5/30/2014
  • "Good food and fun friendly service. Wang's is always fun for happy hour and dinner."
    Dined on 5/30/2014
  • "The food is excellent, as is the atmosphere. It was unusually hot in the restaurant, however, as the air seemed to be off or ineffective on a very warm evening. You had to ask for refills all evening as nobody checked on our table or monitored our beverage glasses. I provided balanced feedback to the host upon leaving, noting the excellent food but poor service. I was only offered an excuse of "it's a new person working," rather than a simple apology. "
    Dined on 5/26/2014
  • "The food in the service of always been great. We keep coming back."
    Dined on 5/25/2014
  • "I seem to remember the food being better than it was this time around. Our portions were small compared to what was being served at tables nearby. Calamari presentation very poor. It was a Monday night, but the food should have been better."
    Dined on 5/19/2014
  • "Excellent choice of appetizers and entrées. Best service in town. "
    Dined on 5/18/2014
  • "Friends have been inviting us to Wangs for years and we have always declined because we thought it was a wing joint. Great cocktails, interesting and diverse menu. We will definitely return. "
    Dined on 5/17/2014
  • "The food is always tasty, the kitchen can be slow when busy. Levy always provides friendly, efficient service."
    Dined on 5/16/2014
  • "Buzzing on the patio, great food but no chance of a conversation without having to raise your voice."
    Dined on 5/16/2014
  • "always a delight for the taste buds introduced a new client"

  • "the food was very good, but it always is. service very good, so what more could you ask for"
    Dined on 5/11/2014
  • "I took my mom for mothers day brunch and we had a blast. The performers were great, the food superb and the service impeccable. I looked at the menu and based our trip on that, two days later I went back to the website and saw they had entertainment so that was an added bonus. Have a open mind and try Wangs, I will be going back. Making reservations through Open Table was simple and easy I would use them again."
    Dined on 5/11/2014
  • "the food as usual is always good. The noise level is much too loud. They need some no reason absorbing materials around the room. The only Issue was I was brought the wrong dish for my entree but it was very quickly corrected and I did not wait long for my dish to come. Will always go back there whenever I'm here in Palm Springs."
    Dined on 5/3/2014
  • "Fridays at Wang's are always fun. Good food, drinks and fun atmosphere. Yes, it's busy and loud in the bar....it's Happy Hour. The food is consistently good and the special always offer something tasty. The Szechuan beef and ginger chicken breast are delicious! Levy is a friendly and efficient server!"
    Dined on 5/2/2014
  • "As per usual the food was outstanding. We like going at about 5:15 when it just opens up. The food is so fresh and tasty also the noise level is down. Friday night is always extremely noisy and full so we rarely go on that night."
    Dined on 4/30/2014
  • "This was an odd and very rare night at Wangs. The kitchen staff was spot on with meal preparation. It was served hot and delicious as usual. However, the service this night was poorly lacking. There were only 2 waiters and the "call-in" help was awful. He didn't want to be there and had no people skills. Additionally, he forgot to deliver our drinks. Having said that, when our true waiter came by, he was pleasant and professional -- just as he has been on previous visits. We still recommended Wangs to our friends and will definitely be back. This was just an odd night. "

  • "Went past Sunday for Drag Dim Sum Brunch, the show was great. The food was mediocre and expensive. Will not return for Brunch. Wang's has almost authentic Chinese food. Except to pay high price for average Chinese Food. If you want to see a good drag show, have breakfast elsewhere, eat a few tapas when there. No drink specials during brunch. :( "
    Dined on 4/27/2014
  • "How nice that Friday Happy Hour is ending at 7:30 again instead of 7:00! Thank you! When coming from LA on a Friday it makes it much easier to enjoy a drink before dinner. The food was tasty as always. Great to have Levy as our waiter!"
    Dined on 4/25/2014
  • "If you like hot and sour soup I dare you to try theirs and tell me it isn't the BEST! Great food. Service can be a bit slow or labored depending on where you are seated and if it is a busy night. Don't dine on prime nights if you are in a hurry."
    Dined on 4/24/2014
  • "Food was cold, no refills on drinks, waiter disappeared. We were given one of those tables in the little jail stage and essentially overlooked. Wangs is a better restaurant than this and I was embarrassed to have to explain that to the Chamber of Commerce CEO with whom I was dining. "
    Dined on 4/24/2014
  • "The food was incredible as always and the service was first rate."
    Dined on 4/24/2014
  • "A must v8sit everytime in Palm Springs. The food is excellent as is the service. If Wangs was in Vancouver I would be 300 pounds!"
