My husband took me here for a nice dinner on St. Patrick's Day. I cannot say enough about how amazing the place is.
The staff were very polite and the food was oh so yummy.
Walter's is a place we will go to again. We felt welcome and relaxed there. Did I mention the food was amazing? Well, it deserves another mention! Go there and enjoy! Walter's is well worth the money spent!

We went during restaurant week where there is an all inclusive option providing, an opportunity to experience a restaurant's fare. The ambiance is charming and I loved the bar feel. Our server was nice when we could grab his attention. The cuisine is done in the European style with a lot of butter and cream. The lobster bisque made it worth the experience but the next courses were too decadent and overpouring for me. My spouse went with the sole and I went with the New York Strip, with a blue cheese cream sauce and you could taste the cream in the mashed potatoes. My spouse's sole was no different, oozing in butter. His risotto was lovely. The desserts were also laden in cream. I can't complain about the food quality but too rich!

I ate dinner at Walter's with my Sister and her husband on March 13th, during Colorado Springs Restaurant Week. The service and food were both outstanding! We will definitley go back to Walter's again. I think it is one of the best restaurants I have been to in Colorado Springs!

The service was abysmal. It took 40 minutes to get a menu. The waitress was not really up to our standards as far as being a somelier. When we did have someone who knew the wines come to the table, we asked for a recommendation for a $50.00 bottle of wine, & they offered a $65.00. When we decided on a $45.00, we got the "eye roll" so... was he the stupid one or were we the stupid ones, who bought the bottle anyway & stayed there for the rest of the evening. Luckily the company was good, & even though no one offered us more coffee, we were the last ones to leave the restaurant.... served them right for being rude.

As always, Walters goes beyond other restaurants! The lobster bisque is outstanding. I have eaten here numerous times for lunch and dinner and have always found the food, service and atmosphere consistently that 'step above' the competition.
