  • "The Walnut Street Supper club has great food, but even better than that is the entertainment. During your meal various staff members go up to the stage and perform hits from well known musicals. We were so lucky to get selections from Les Mis, Phantom and Frozen!!! It was a great evening and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff is so friendly AND talented!!"

  • "We had dinner at the Walnut Supper Club before attending a show at the Walnut St. Theatre. We had been ther twice before. The food was very good and the service friendly and efficient. The staff also entertain with songs accompanied by a piano-playing host and drummer. They sing show tunes and other popular songs and allwere talented singers. Theater-goers also receive a 20% discount. An enjoyable evening."

  • "We were pleasantly surprised with this place. With the wait staff singing throughout the evening it makes for a fun time. My only comment or suggestion would be to keep the volume lower as it is hardly possible to have a conversation when they sing."

  • "The service was just great! There's a lot of talent in Phila and i think the Walnut Street Supper Club has found it in these young, talented performers. In addition to the atmosphere and service the food was first rate from the calamari to the homemade pasta."

  • "This is definitely a gem in Philadelphia - not only is the food incredible, but the staff is even more enjoyable! The live entertainment is the cherry on top - the ambiance is wonderful and the 1940's inspired theme makes the experience top notch. The pastas are homemade, the drinks are unique, the music is perfection, and the staff is beyond talented. HIGHLY recommend!"

  • "My husband and I had a wonderful time at the Walnut Street Cafe. I had homemade pasta in mushroom sauce, and he had a fabulous chicken dish, and we both had the lemon cake desert (we started off with a Caesar salad apiece, the best I've had in many years). The waitstaff took breaks to sing to the audience without damaging service at the tables. The owner greeted us as we left after dinner."

  • "Staff was friendly, however the food took almost an hour and a half to arrive. Mine had bits of ham in it although the description on the menu didn't mention it. Bring vegetarian, that was not a pleasant surprise. The manager did make an attempt to talk to everyone which was nice. But his gruff personality was more scary than fun. The servers sang and and were quite talented, but it wasn't as advertised either. No Sinatra or old standards. Some theater and Broadway. The customers did react happily when they heard a song they recognized."

  • "No seem to be the only word the staff knows. We asked to put an order for a salad for our daughter while we decided what we wanted to eat and they said " NO" the whole order has to go in at one time. My wife order the chicken parm which came with vegetable and ask if she could substitute pasta instead they said "NO. They are not accommodating here and unless you want to eat what they give you in the order the give it to please go somewhere else where they try to give you what you want."

There was no wait to be seated and we were all very satisfied with the quality of the meal and its presentation. The service was prompt and courteous and when we sat for an hour after the meal, there was no pressure to get up and out. I would definitely return."

  • "The food and staff were absolutely wonderful. The live entertainment was excellent; however, I wish the music was a little more mellow. At times, it was difficult to have conversation. In spite of the louder music I would definitely go back to this restaurant the next time we are in Philadelphia. "

The service was awesome and we did not feel rushed through our dinner. The food was delicious. And the singing made the whole experience. We will definitely be going back with friends and as a date night."

  • "The wait staff was prompt and helpful in navigating the menu and wine list -- only issue, the staff seemed to disappear once the food was served. The food was very good and with six dining, we sampled many items on the menu. The goat cheese was amazing. This is a definite place to visit again."
