My family recently dined at Walker's Grille for dinner. Our server, Ashton, was very knowledgeable about the menu. I had the steak frites and my daughter had the veal chop. We had the warm apple fritters for dessert. Everything was delicious and cooked perfectly. We will definitely be back for dinner again.

We have eaten twice at Walkers Grille, and they nailed every aspect of dining out both times. The space both inside and outside is lovely and attractive: modern, cheerful decor, good lighting, comfortable seating, talkable sound level. The service is also excellent: knowledgable, prompt, professional, and friendly. They obviously spend ample time choosing and training staff. The wine list is short but well balanced and reasonably priced, and the wine is stored properly. And the food is great: generous portions, perfectly prepared, great salads, veggies, meats, bread, and potatoes. No complaints except the schlep from just about anywhere, but there's free and ample parking. I only wish there were more options as good as Walkers Grille in the DC/NoVA area.

I've been driving by Walker's Grille thinking it was an office lunch cafe kind of place. When I saw it posted on OpenTable and explored the menu I decided to give it a try. It was delicious. The menu is very creative and provided options for people with different dietary needs (vegetarian, gluten free). There was something for everyone and we all loved our meals. It was a bonus we happened to go on a Monday evening and learned it that wine bottles were half off. The waitstaff was great and added to our positive experience. Can't wait to return!

We met friends there for an early dinner Saturday. The appetizers were excellent. I and one friend had the gumbo, which should not be missed. Another friend swore by the shrimp bisque. All enjoyed the entrees as well. My swordfish steak was as good as it gets with a great citrus-fennel relish. Then we sampled the desserts--shared four around the table--all were first class. I especially liked the pumpkin cheesecake. We've been to Walker's Grille 2 or 3 times and plan to go again. It is on the up-market end of the spectrum for this area, which is just what you want for certain kinds of get-togethers. You could spend the same amount elsewhere and be less satisfied.

It's been a while since we were here. Our first dinner experience was only so-so. Recently went for Saturday breakfast. Drinks are expensive for a little glass. Ordered their Waker Grill Bloody Mary. Didn't see a blue cheese olive, just a plain ole olive. Food was only so-so. Communication with the server left a little to be desired. We ordered eggs Benedict and it was light on the Hollandaise sauce, accompanied with potatoes, which was neither on the menu or did the server mention it. We also ordered a side of potatoes. A bit too much potatoes. The cappuccino was luke warm. Great location and great potential, but I don't think we will be back.

I decided to try out Walker's Grille after seeing some reviews online for brunch. It was a delight. The waitress was super friendly, the restaurant was clean and the food arrived pretty quickly. I highly recommend the Kobe ranchero and the warm apple fritters. Both dishes are among my favorite brunch items I have had in the DC area. REALLY. The fritters were to die for -- perfectly done.

My husband and I were looking for something new and went online to Open Table for restaurants near us and found "Walker's Grille" - after reading reviews and looking at the menu - we decided to try it and we had a fabulous experience. Walker's Grille is hidden away - the signage is very subtle - you have to know what you're looking for - but the food is exceptional, the service is superior, the environment is warm and friendly, and yet it was not noisy - we enjoyed a lovely dinner - the chef had a seasonal salmon special that was divine! I also had the beet and arugula salad that was delicious. My husband had a Caesar salad and cod/chips which he enjoyed. We will definitely go back and I highly recommend Walker's Grille.

My friends and I dined at this spot stationed in a random section in an office community for brunch and may I say that we all had an amazing time. The food was delicious and the drinks were pouring. We dined this past Saturday, which unfortunately was on a rainy day. We did not get to take advantage of the outdoor seating but dining inside was just fine. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable and punctual when it came to pouring the unlimited mimosas. Yum. My friends and I would definitely return regardless of the weather.

Overall we had a good meal and a pleasant experience at Walker's Grill. However, the devil is in the details. Our server was apparently doing double duty as the bar-tender and we had to wait nearly 20 minutes for our check. That said, the service through the meal was good and the food tasty - the presentation of the food on the plate was lovely. We were there on a very quiet Saturday night so that was pleasant as well.

We found this restaurant only because I was looking for something close to home during Restaurant Week. Staff was friendly and attentive. We were seated outside and before we had a chance to adjust our rocking table, the hostess was there with blocks to set the table for us. Menu was interesting and the food was as well prepared and delicious. We had a lobster strudel which was creamy and decadent and a surf and turf with a Filet Mignon and perfectly cooked jumbo shrimp. I also found a new wine I'll be looking for in the store later. Close to home, friendly atmosphere and a killer cook staff; very glad I found them.

Overall, the food was great and the servers were attentive and helpful in assisting with wine selections. It wouldn't been nice if we could've received happy hour prices for drinks and not have to be sitting at the bar. The only problem we experienced was the server didn't process our check right and had to run my friend's credit card twice.

Some restaurants don't offer much for RW...but Walker's Grille had one of the best value menus I've seen yet. I had the crab cobb salad, the surf and turf and the chocolate pot de creme. All were wonderful, the filet was tender and didn't even need the steak knife. My friend's scallops were also delicious. It was a great lunch outing and amazing amount of food for the lunch RW price. The service was unbelievably slow. I work @ Metro Park and wanted to experience its restaurant week selection. Well with reservation in place and plans to order from the prix fixe menu, I imagined the food would be rather expedited. It took forever! (These weren't extravagant menu items) The waitress was sweet, but a smile goes but so far when everything else is so wrong. The food was tasty, I guess, but poor service took away from the meal completely. The dessert was very amateur. The staff seemed to be completely oblivious to the fact that their service was lacking. I will not probably revisit. Its nothing special & other restaurants in the area may be further, but with better service is faster than eating @ Walker's Grille.

This was my third time coming here, but my first time coming here during restaurant week. The food that was offered on the special restaurant week lunch menu was fantastic. Their lobster bisque was very tasty. Their surf and turf featured 2 large perfectly cooked shrimp, filet mignon, spinach, and mashed potatoes. For dessert I had strawberry shortcake. Everything was prepared so nicely and my meal could have easily cost double the price and I still would have thought it was an excellent meal. The servers were very attentive, but not pushy. The atmosphere inside was really nice. I will definitely dine at Walker's Grille again.

We have been coming here for a while and enjoy the food. The service is also usually good, with some expected delays when eating outside caused by the extra distance of the servers needing to go in and out the doors. What has changed the last few times we have been there is the menu. It no longer quite suits our taste, but as usual the food that comes out is well prepared and very tasty. Our issue is really the vegetable hash that comes with all of the grilled items. It is usually heavy on the onions and peppers and little else. The small amount of fingerling potatoes doesn't quite make up enough side dish without the hash. The salads, hummus trio and the apple and cinnamon dessert remain excellent.
