We were seated in the smaller room with a view over the old golf course or the Banff river. This room is quieter that the large room next door. We had to hike for a few minutes to see the restaurant which is in the forrest. Quaint, lovely ambiance, wonderful service. We were there to celebrate our 15 yr anniversary. Gorgeous Bow River Falls view. A definite plus in our memories. As we left the restaurant we both agreed it was the best meal we had eaten out in a long time. We started with the Goulash Soup and beet salad. Our entrees consisted of the Jager Schnitzel and the trout. The flavors of the food were amazing - so well prepared! The wine list was wonderful and the service impeccable. I would recommend this restaurant for any occasion as it was casual yet formal if that makes sense.
