Vue on 30AAbsolutely Amazing!!!What a diamond of a find! Amazing meal. This is now our favorite place to dine on all of 30-A and you can not the beat the view anywhere along 30-A. Perfect place for sunset. Food was outstanding. Can't wait to go back. Ask for Elena to be your server. We even stayed after dinner and listen to this incredible female guitar player from Nashville on their patio. I had oyster benedict with only three fried oysters....which was a bit of a disappointment but the dish was very tasty. My husband got a Cobb-type salad with baby shrimp and crab.....looked delicious; he said it was good; the restaurant was out of Blue Cheese dressing however.5/5/2013 12:00:00 AMHigh noteWe dined at Vue the last night of our vacation and wow...it was the best meal we had all week. The ambience, service, and food were amazing. Both my husband and I had steak and they were cooked to perfection, served over mashed potatoes, but started with a goat cheese salad. Of corse, we couldn't skip desert so we ended our meal with the key lime pie....it was unbelievable. I travel for business and steakhouses are standard fare for dinner. Most do not compare with what was served at Vue.
The only thing I found odd, and trust me, it won't keep me from eating there again, was the amount of bread served. We were given blueberry muffins for a starter, then the Benedict came on biscuits as expected, but it was served with a side of toast. A side of fruit would seem more fitting. Again, I will absolutely continue to eat here. My husband ordered the seafood omelet and practically licked the plate clean.4/21/2013 12:00:00 AMAWESOMEVery simple.....a totally AWESOME experience. Have been to several mediocre and generally overpriced restaurants in the Sandestin, Santa Rosa, Watercolor area. Stumbled upon Vue 30 by sheer luck (Opentable). Brooke the manager and the entire staff made this a memorable evening for the wife and I. And of course, the Gulf view is spectacular. Much more of a local atmosphere instead of touristy, which was a huge plus for us.

The staff was very mindful and aware of our special moment and gave us the privacy that we needed. We look forward to returning to Santa Rosa and the Vue to celebrate our engagement. We are even considering getting married there.

Had the fruits de mer and the pistachio grouper and both were excellent. The view can't be beat and the bar/restaurant had a modern vibe with live music. I was worried it would be stuffy or old based on some other reviews and that wasn't the case at all. The ambiance is outstanding. We have eaten up and down 30A as well as Destin and I will say Vue is one of the best. 5 star food and dining for a reasonable price that the everday person can afford at any time.
I picked this restaurant for my 40th B-day dinner and I WILL BE BACK and CANT WAIT!

It is one of the only restaurants in the area (thats not a themed beach bar & restaurant) that has an ocean view. Food was well prepared and delicious. My only criticism is that the service was slow. I think our server had too many tables to cover. The beach view at sunset is great, and there are few fine dining restaurants on the beach in this area ... this is the one with a "Vue"! The seafood dishes we ordered (scallops and shrimp)were excellently prepared and well presented. We were able to get a reservation one day ahead, even during "spring break", and when we arrived the restaurant seemed full, but we were seated immediately, and at a requested window-side table.
