  • "Great view, had guest in from out of town who had never been there. I told them this was one of my favorite restaurants. We had a great table, good service and their food was good. I ordered a filet med-rare, it came out well done, i returned it and the next one came out RARE! Come on people how hard is it to cook a med-rare fillet mignon? I just said forget it since all others were done eating. I had a wonderful meal of green beans and mashed potatoes! The server did apologize and took it off the bill although the manager never came over."

  • "WE had went to Santa Rosa Beach Club where the Vue is located when we lived in the area. It was good but not like it is today. We recently moved back to 30A and have not joined as a social member, largely because of the restaurant, The Vue. There are very few choices for oceanfront dining on 30A and this is the best. The chef, staff and menu are outstanding."

  • "First time dining at Vue on 30A met my expectations. The view was spectacular and every serving was meticulously prepared. Thoroughly enjoyed the fresh seafood options. Will return."

  • "Looking for a memorable spot to celebrate our wedding anniversary and found it in a window seat at the Vue. Endless Gulf panorama. Interesting menu. Reasonable portions well prepared and presented. Attentive, but not hovering service. Nice evening."

  • "Was outside too close to music. Amplied music was too loud for conversation."

  • "We dined at Vue on a Monday evening with the restaurant at 50% capacity. The main issue with our disappointing experience was poor service. We waited an hour after placing our orders for entrees to arrive with no sign of our server; no drink orders, bread, or even an update on status. In fact, we thought she may have gone home. Another server later informed us "the kitchen is slammed" which was surprising with half of the tables empty. We planned to address this with the manager as we were leaving but he and the front desk staff were also MIA. I noticed he was busy returning meals to the kitchen from another table so it's likely he was a bit overloaded."

  • "The restaurant/bar is beautiful. The view looking out over the gulf was absolutely perfect. Our waiter was friendly and gave us good service. The food itself was just okay. The Wedge salad along with the spinach salad was very bland, not much flavor. The Halibut fish plate was terrible. I think the fish was actually bad. My girlfriend had two bites and left it. We didn't say anything to the waitress about it. The Tuna special that night was good but not much tuna on the plate for $42. The desert was mediocre. It was a trio of chocolates. Again not much flavor. Would I go back? Probably not, too many other nice restaurants in the area."

  • "We had a nice dinner, but the food was not the reason why."

  • "We had a wonderful relaxing meal with excellent service. This will be a spot to which we will return on another visit to Panama City Beach."

  • "We had the opportunity to dine here our last night in Santa Rosa Beach. While the view is spectacular, the food was not great, and the service average (at best)! If the meal lived up to half of the view; it would have been wonderful! Lamb chops were not trimmed. Shrimp Dish was tasteless, and the ostrich (while exotic), was only fair."

  • "We live in Panama City Beach and visit the Vue several times a year. We would not travel that far (35 miles) if it wasn't an excellent place for a Sunday brunch or a special occasion. While the location is outstanding, the food and service are also excellent. Keep up the great standard!"

  • "Food was outstanding! The spiniach and berry salad exceptional the escargot outstanding . The Colorado rack of lamb perfection!"

  • "Food was great. We had a salad, filet and veal. Cooked correctly and great flavor. Romantic setting even though there were quite a few very well behaved kids (we left the 3 and 6 year old with the babysitter). Food was priced what you would expect for the location. Service was good...kept water glasses filled up which is great. They also had a great outside area and what sounded like a live band (we had 7:30 reservations on a Friday night and music started around 8 if I had to guess). Nice wine selection and bar area."

  • "The Vue provided an incredible time for my wife and my 14th wedding anniversary. The service was timely, informative, and appropriately interactive. The French Onion soup for the appetizer was excellent. My wife started with what I would call a standard wedge with a creative bacon hat (my word not theirs). The Sea Bass was well presented and tasted even better with Hollandaise. My wife decided that she would order something outside of her norm and was pleasantly surprised by her Lamb Chops. We paired that with the 2012 buttery Chardonnay of Cakebread, and the meal was a hit. True to its name. The view of the emerald coast in Santa Rosa beach is exquisite. We both thought the dessert options were limited, two options to be exact."

  • "Another great meal at the Vue. Excellent service, fabulous sunset and excellent wine. Cannot say enough about the restaurant, one of our favorites along 30A."

  • "Wow! There is definitely a beautiful view! We arrived a little before a thunderstorm started, and it was truly a viewing experience. We have dined here three times now, and the food has been delicious every time. I had the colossal shrimp in pasta - so good! The foie gras and the tempura portobello fries were fabulous appetizers. Portion sizes were plenty. We had cocktails, but the wine list looked great, too. We have brought our kids here in the past, and they were treated well - not like some restaurants in the area. We will be back!"

  • "Over the top view and ambience. Server was great. I ordered the colossal shrimp and one of them was perfect but the other two had a soft mushy consistency. Could not eat those! I will definitely go again but will order something else ."

  • "This restaurant serves up great food while allowing diners to view the Gulf from a well appointed dining room. I had the Fruits de Mer and my wife had the Steak of the Week. Both were excellent. The experience was great."

  • "This was our first time dining at Vue. We sat outside on the smaller patio on the west side and the view of the gulf while dining was great. The wife had a filet and I had the pistachio encrusted grouper. Both were outstanding, albeit I thought the grouper was a little overcooked. The highlight though was the lobster triology appetizer. What the chef does mixing the various flavors was impressive. Highly recommended."

  • "The BEST! I am a local an this is hands down my favorite restaurant. My husband has poor hearing and this is one of the few restaurants where we can have a normal conversation. The food is always excellent no matter what we order. And what a view..."

  • "girls weekend / birthday dinner. gorgeous view of the gulf at sunset from all tables but especially at the window if requested. food was fresh and tasty and enjyed by all. live music and seating outside. nice bar inside for just cocktails and appetizers. friendly helpful staff, but would not seat us early despite seemingly available tables. many happy locals coming and going, mostly middle aged. dressy/nice casual. "

  • "One of the best on the Emerald Coast. Twenty minute drive from Destin but let that stop you from going. Worth the drive and view from the restaurant is as good as it gets."

  • "We went there for lunch May 15. We had a window table indoors. The view was wonderful as was the food and service. "

  • "My husband and I arrived early for our reservation and decided to have a drink at their patio bar. Unfortunately, we waited almost 15 minutes before anyone even approached us. Our food was good, not outstanding. My food arrived with apologies that my husband's order would be out in 3 minutes. After I had finished eating and my dish had been cleared away, and after 2 more apologies, the manager delivered my husband's dinner and did offer to take it off the bill. I'd say this was a blip but saw the same problem at the table next to us - meal timing was a problem at this restaurant. The view was amazing and many tables were right on the water. That would be the only reason I'd go back!"

  • "During a recent vacation to SRB, our last night out we visited the Vue on 30A. Remarkable customer service and the food was terrific. Unfortunate the restaurant had no control over the overcast evening, so we did not have the ability to see the sunset over the Gulf. "

  • "A decent find on 30a, with some bright spots and some negatives. The view from the dining room is great, but doesn't disguise the overall banquet hall ambiance. I had the tuna tartare app, my wife the lobster. Both were excellent and large. My wife had a red snapper entree with arugula. The fish was prepared well, but slightly overdressed, and with enough arugula for 4 meals. My Cobia was simple and would have been excellent but it was a tad over cooked. Dessert was simple but good, not great. Bar service was very good. So I'm glad we went, it was a nice but not memorable meal. I would recommend it, but likely won't go back myself. "

  • "Arrived at 6:30 and were seated by a group of 15 very loud foul mouthed diners. We had this reservation for weeks and it was an anniversary celebration. We asked to be seated at another table and were told no way as the other tables were reserved , even though they were all empty. It was so loud you could not even carry on a conversation. Not to mention the S*^+# , F#%^*£ cussing every other word. The manager could care less as he was just walking around in circles and never would say anything to this group. The service was incredibly slow as it took 3 hours from start to finish with no desert or after dinner drinks. While the food was good the wait staff seemed confused and very unorganized. The seater could care less. "

  • "This is our second time to eat at The Vue on 30A and the food was just as good the second time around. If you are looking for outdoor or indoor fine dining with a great view this is the place. The service was excellent (thanks Dylan). The wine list is more than adequate. Just a great overall experience. We will return."

  • "What a fantastic find for our last night in the area, and my birthday dinner. The food was amazing - presentation and taste were excellent. The wine list was alluring, however we opted for cocktails. Overlooking the waves and sea oats, created a relaxed and relaxing atmosphere while we enjoyed our last night in paradise."

  • "We had a nice view from our table; however, our food took over an hour and 15 minutes to arrive at the table. My shrimp were overcooked (chalky). The wife's dish, Fruits de mer, was good but not great with the main demerit being undercooked risotto. It appeared that most of the patrons around our table ordered non-seafood items and enjoyed them. Maybe our mistake was ordering seafood from a restaurant located on the beach. Also, the lighting was a little bright but that is being too critical. Again, nice view from window seats and maybe go with a dish from our landloving friends."
