This restaurant has a great wine list, wonderful steaks and the views are just wonderful. You can also step out on the 50th floor open viewing area for pictures and if your heart can handle it look over the edge. There is also a Zipline ride that you can take from that area.

It's always good when a restaurant has something on their menu that makes you come back...and the voodoo steakhouse lobster bisque is it. In a town where their are thousands of choices...this one is ours. The bisque brings us back but the scene and service is 5 star everytime as well. We had Tony this time and he was the best. Never missed a beat. The food is always consistently wonderful. Never had a bad experience yet. Keep it up.

loved the restaurant! the food was fantastic, the service was great. the view is spectacular!!!!! The only tiny complaint i have is the high energy music noise level from the adjoining club was too loud, but then again we did have 9:30 pm dinner reservations. if you are looking for a quieter dinner atmosphere i recommend going earlier for dinner. it is a bit pricey, but the food is top notch with service to match. also, make sure to request a window table.

We had a great meal. The steak(s) were excellent and the cocktail menu had a great variety. My maple old fashion was different but quite tasty. We also stepped out and checked out the view. It is a terrific panorama of The Strip. I'm not 100% sure I would drive out here for a meal but if I was staying here I won't hesitate, I would insist.

We decided to go to voodoo steakhouse for a business meeting while we were in Vegas for an expo. It is a great location for someone who wants to see the strip. We didn't like our table much as it seemed to be in the way of people who were entering the restaurant, and that hurt the ambience a little bit. But the steaks were the best we have ever had, hands down. The patio outside allows you to have the best view of Vegas. You have to try this restaurant on the 50th floor of the Rio.

We were a group of six, and my partner was hosting clients. Our table was so small that there wasn't enough room for food and wine, water, plates, etc. Had to juggle for room for every thing. I ordered the coconut shrimp for the appetizer, the breading was soggy, and it arrived with 5 HUGE skewered shrimp. It was awkward to eat, and was only mediocre. Several others ordered oysters, which looked good, but did not receive rave reviews. For my main course, I had the Braised Veal Bourguignonne, which was delicious and flavorful. My partner had the scallops, which she said were delicious. All in all, good service, great views, and good food. It seemed a little more expensive than was warranted by the food...

We had a great night at the Voodoo Steakhouse. We started with s Ceaser salad and the lump crab an artichoke dip, they were both very good,. The filet we had was amazing. The view from the restraunt is breathtaking, there is also an outdoor patio area where we enjoyed a drink. I would suggest going after the sun goes down so you can enjoy the strip lit up.

Voodoo is 50 floors up and offers a magnificent view of the city and the Strip. Re: food - our appetizers were great, but I felt the main course steaks were both underwhelming. Mine was far too over cooked for the medium rare that I'd requested, and my husband's came out originally without the horseradish crust he'd ordered. The seasoning on the meat was lovely, however, there was neither salt nor pepper on the table, and at no point were we offered fresh-ground pepper by our server. Re: service - our server was extremely anxious to please, and very friendly, but perhaps he could have reeled it in a bit. Also, as I've said, he made some pretty basic errors. Re: value - check was $200 before tip, no dessert, just 1 drink. Not worth it.

The only drawback of the experience was finding how to get there! Escalators kind of in the middle of the Rio casino take you up to where a hostess is just lurking around a corner - not obvious at all! An elevator takes you up to a dark hallway... All of this is confused by the fact that MANY things in that casino are labeled "voodoo" so not just this restaurant! Once at the table with a fantastic view, the service and ambiance is second to none! I had the sea bass which was easily in the top 5 of things I have EVER eaten. The "Witch Doctor" cocktail is a fun one (not to mention that it's pretty stout) to order. Service is professional and very attentive. Pricing matches the quality ($$$). Overall I would highly recommend it!

View is spectacular. Food was great. Tony our waiter was fabulous. Free entrance after dinner to Rio's rooftop lounge and outdoor patio with a DJ and fun dance experience. Pricey but worth it for the view of Las Vegas strip from 50 floors up. Celebrated decade birthday and they gave us gratis glass of champagne with dinner. They acknowledged the special occasion on arrival and throughout the evening. Would definitely recommend and return.

We were referred to Voodoo by some family members who couldn't say enough about the view and the experience. Our table reservation was free online which was nice seeing how we spent $80 for just a drink and an appetizer. When we arrived at the Rio it was unclear whether we were heading to a club or a restaurant - turns out it was both! There was a bit of confusion over this: the club is $20 for women and $30 for gentleman but the restaurant didn't have a cover charge if you had a reservation. Our table reservation (the $80 we paid for food) got us 'free' access to the club just above the restaurant. Go to the Voodoo to see the Vegas view from the 50th floor of the Rio and get some expensive drinks.

Made my reservations well in advance. When we got there the restaurant was basically empty and they attempted to seat us at the end of the restaurant where there were no windows, only walls surrounding us. After we complained, they seated us at a really nice table by the windows with a great view. The food was not that great, but the service was passable. When we left the restaurant it was still pretty much empty so we were wondering why they attempted to seat us where we were surrounded by walls. Not a restaurant I would ever go to again. Prices were extremely high for the lack of quality of food and not that great service.

Price is upscale but food was great and portions generous. View was fantastic from where we were sitting. Service was very good but could be better. Customers shouldn't have to ask for someone to meet a need from an upscale restaurant like this, but we had to wait and waive to the waiter at least 4 times during our dinner. There were a few customers that were loud but not enough to ruin the ambiance entirely. Overall, the experience was worth the price and visit.

We have been here several times and have had great experiences. After being seated, we waited 15 minutes before anyone offered us a drink. After we finally ordered drinks, another 20 minutes passed before they arrived. We began ordering our next round when one round was delivered. Our waiter disappeared for long periods of time and when he did make an appearance, he seemed scattered. Food took forever, but we didn't mind since enjoying cocktails. Gratuity was included on our bill since we were a large group. We were not inclined to leave additional tip beyond that for the subpar service. When our waiter saw that we had not left additional tip, he argued with is over whether or not gratuity was included. It will be awhile before I try again.

We went there with a group of 7 for our 25th Wedding Anniversary dinner. The service was absolutely terrible. The waiter could really care less about us. The food was edible but certainly nothing to write home about. Most restaurants in Vegas are on the high side so the prices weren't outrageous but certainly not cheap. One of our meals came out 20 min. later than everyone else's and they wouldn't take it off the bill. Then they brought us a Happy Birthday cake as we were leaving instead of a Happy Anniversary piece of cake. Not what I would expect from an upscale restaurant. On the upside the roof top club was very nice with a Fantastic view!!

Tony was our server both steaks were over cooked he agreed and nothing was done not even a I'm sorry. Overall experience, based on the friendly and attentive staff plus terrific view from the 50th floor, was good. The steak however, at a 58$ price point for a 12oz filet was ok. Ordered medium and the outside was a bit chewy and over-grilled/charred. Granted, filet is tender but a Vegas steakhouse should deliver better, especially when you can get a succulent steak at Cut for around the same price. The flavor was good but could have been seasoned better. Accompaniements were, again, good but not exceptional. Mashed were just the right amount if creamy but could've used a tad more salt or butter. Overall, glad I went and suggest prioritizing other high end steakhouses on the Vegas Strip.

Overall, it was just OK. For those prices and a difference in quality, I would've went to DelFrisco's or Mastro's for much better food.
