Voodoo is 50 floors up and offers a magnificent view of the city and the Strip. Re: food - our appetizers were great, but I felt the main course steaks were both underwhelming. Mine was far too over cooked for the medium rare that I'd requested, and my husband's came out originally without the horseradish crust he'd ordered. The seasoning on the meat was lovely, however, there was neither salt nor pepper on the table, and at no point were we offered fresh-ground pepper by our server. Re: service - our server was extremely anxious to please, and very friendly, but perhaps he could have reeled it in a bit. Also, as I've said, he made some pretty basic errors. Re: value - check was $200 before tip, no dessert, just 1 drink. Not worth it.

View is spectacular. Food was great. Tony our waiter was fabulous. Free entrance after dinner to Rio's rooftop lounge and outdoor patio with a DJ and fun dance experience. Pricey but worth it for the view of Las Vegas strip from 50 floors up. Celebrated decade birthday and they gave us gratis glass of champagne with dinner. They acknowledged the special occasion on arrival and throughout the evening. Would definitely recommend and return.

We were referred to Voodoo by some family members who couldn't say enough about the view and the experience. Our table reservation was free online which was nice seeing how we spent $80 for just a drink and an appetizer. When we arrived at the Rio it was unclear whether we were heading to a club or a restaurant - turns out it was both! There was a bit of confusion over this: the club is $20 for women and $30 for gentleman but the restaurant didn't have a cover charge if you had a reservation. Our table reservation (the $80 we paid for food) got us 'free' access to the club just above the restaurant. Go to the Voodoo to see the Vegas view from the 50th floor of the Rio and get some expensive drinks.

Made my reservations well in advance. When we got there the restaurant was basically empty and they attempted to seat us at the end of the restaurant where there were no windows, only walls surrounding us. After we complained, they seated us at a really nice table by the windows with a great view. The food was not that great, but the service was passable. When we left the restaurant it was still pretty much empty so we were wondering why they attempted to seat us where we were surrounded by walls. Not a restaurant I would ever go to again. Prices were extremely high for the lack of quality of food and not that great service.

Price is upscale but food was great and portions generous. View was fantastic from where we were sitting. Service was very good but could be better. Customers shouldn't have to ask for someone to meet a need from an upscale restaurant like this, but we had to wait and waive to the waiter at least 4 times during our dinner. There were a few customers that were loud but not enough to ruin the ambiance entirely. Overall, the experience was worth the price and visit.

We have been here several times and have had great experiences. After being seated, we waited 15 minutes before anyone offered us a drink. After we finally ordered drinks, another 20 minutes passed before they arrived. We began ordering our next round when one round was delivered. Our waiter disappeared for long periods of time and when he did make an appearance, he seemed scattered. Food took forever, but we didn't mind since enjoying cocktails. Gratuity was included on our bill since we were a large group. We were not inclined to leave additional tip beyond that for the subpar service. When our waiter saw that we had not left additional tip, he argued with is over whether or not gratuity was included. It will be awhile before I try again.

I come to Vegas at least 5 times a year. I came this time for my birthday which I have done the past 3 years and this was by far the worst food and service we've had. Tony was our server both steaks were over cooked he agreed and nothing was done not even a I'm sorry. I've dined at a minimum 12 other fine dining steakhouse's in Vegas and all of them I would easily choose over the Voodoo!

Overall experience, based on the friendly and attentive staff plus terrific view from the 50th floor, was good. The steak however, at a 58$ price point for a 12oz filet was ok. Ordered medium and the outside was a bit chewy and over-grilled/charred. Granted, filet is tender but a Vegas steakhouse should deliver better, especially when you can get a succulent steak at Cut for around the same price. The flavor was good but could have been seasoned better. Accompaniements were, again, good but not exceptional. Mashed were just the right amount if creamy but could've used a tad more salt or butter. Overall, glad I went and suggest prioritizing other high end steakhouses on the Vegas Strip.

We go to VooDoo for dinner 2 to 3 times a year. Honestly, this time was somewhat of a disappointment. Food was under par for what you pay and what you should expect. Our steaks were fairly dry. Overall, it was just OK. For those prices and a difference in quality, I would've went to DelFrisco's or Mastro's for much better food.

We visit the Voodoo every time we are in Las Vegas and my husband loves the frog legs and we found out that they had changed the way they were prepared, the Chef said "no problem" and fixed them the "old" way! This is a true example of a passionate Chef who takes pride in his creations! I usually have the Veal, that absolutely melts in your mouth! The service, as always , was exceptional! As far as we are concerned, Voodoo is the best restaurant in Las Vegas!

We have dined at VooDoo 5 times now and although the food is good, it is becoming too high priced. Steaks range from $44-55 each and then they charge $10 for any side from veggies to French fries. View is fantastic. Truly a must see.

The food was absolutely fantastic!!!! Number one for their lobster bisque and sea bass! We went on a Saturday evening and found the customers too loud for our taste. The club upstairs shared the outside patio -- view was fantastic, but once again, the patrons were loud. We were informed by our waiter that weekdays are quieter and we will opt for a weekday evening next time. If you are searching for a romantic night out, this would be a hit on a quieter evening.

We celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary here as we wanted to try something "really special" for the occasion. I am quite sorry that we did. The food, was less than impressive (especially given the price). The service was less than par. They seemed out to impress you with what they did not serve rather than what they did, as if to say they were better than that. There was only one bright spot to the evening - the view from the roof area after our meal, now that was phenomenal. A bit later in the week we opted for one of our regular dinner spots "Canal Street" in the Orleans Casino. This place puts "VooDoo" to shame. They have everything; great food, personable staff, reasonable prices, ambiance.

Sexy set up. Great menu. Courteous staff. Wine was marked up as per Vegas likes to do. My steak was overlooked and lobster was previously frozen. Mashed potatoes tasted processed and premade. Asparagus was excellent. Enjoyed the bread selection. The Truffle macaroni was good but not great. For fine dining I was a little disappointed, but I'd try it again for sure.

My expectations were high. The results were horrid. Slow service very inattentive almost forgetful. The view was awesome and the seafood plater was great. Was hopi g for more of the same but the wheels fell off the bus after this. The seafood pasta was bland, seafood was overcooked and rubbery. The past was clumpy and the taste was bland. My wife had the scallops which were way over cooked and like chewing on rubber. Must've been a new chef. I wouldn't recommend doing the place bUT I may give it another try next time I'm in Vegas. Everyone can have am off night. But for $200 it shouldn't happen again.
