Upon arrival was provided with stellar service and the friendliest of waiters, unfortunately I cant recall his name but his service was beyond excellent. It was our first time at Vons and our first time trying the raw oysters, so we asked for his recommendation. To our surprise the oysters were delicious! The crab shack oysters were definitely phenomenal. Unfortunately however, I ordered my steak medium rare and to my disappointment my steak oscar was cooked to a medium, barely even pink in the middle while the edges of the steak were completely cooked through. My girlfriends prime rib however was cooked perfectly! Overall amazing service but lacking in some food quality.6/6/2013 12:00:00 AMGreatEverything was excellent from the service to the food. I started w: the complimentary bread @ butter which were just great - helped tame our hunger along with our mojitos (wicked drinks) until the meal came. I had the beet salad - which had tasty candied pecans and the goats cheese was to die for! For the entree, I had filet mignon which was done to perfection and the broccoli & mashed potatoes seemed to have some sort of symbiotic relationship together and hey hammered my taste buds! Seriously an awesome combination - highly recommended.

They had flavored butter, for the first time we tried it, very good. Grey Monk Chardonnay ( Un-Oaked ) lots of flavor. We were able to take our time and enjoy each others company. I do not live in the city but will plan special occasions to be celebrated there, The drive in has always been worth it and I have never been disappointed with the meal.
