Everyone in the party felt special and welcome. The food was excellent ... Most of us had and enjoyed a tasty encrusted salmon with a very flavorful sauce. The wine that was recommended by the server was a perfect match at an affordable price. The managers goal is to treat you as a special guest and he ensnsure that your dining experience is exceptional. The menu is varied but not so large that it is hard to get through. The server did a great job of highlighting the evening's specials with expertise and detailed explanations as to their preparation. He was friendly and very attentive to our needs. Although it was just the two of us it appeared that they did a good job of giving that same level of attention to larger groups of diners. When you walk in the door you immediately feel like your every need will be taken care of, actually before that with the great valet parking. Great service starts at the top, and the restaurant manager greets everyone and makes them feel welcome. The food and wine choices are excellent, and the attention to detail is great. I love Italian food, so this has to be one of my favorites, but only because of the food and the experience - which is over the top. General Manager Tarak Hamada and the front of the house crew is second to none in this "foodie's dream come true setting" The staff at the Bar is equally top-drawer, Mixologist Kyle Tabler along with entire bar crew have taken making the Cocktail into a art-form project of perfection. We were very close to the kitchen. In the future we will request a table on the patio or in the front of the resturant. The food was fabulous! The chef, Joshua Moore, even came by to ask about our dinner. He was very attentive and even gave us his business card so we can call and ask about the type of fish he would have available each week. We felt extremely pampered and we absolutely visit again very soon.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMComplete Treat !We had Mother's Day Brunch at Volare on Sunday, while we have had dinner at the amazing hot spot dozens of times, this however was our first time to experience one the their special day brunches, and it was nothing short of fantastic. Chef Josh Moore had his kitchen staff on point with a wonderful selection from which to choose right down to the shaved asparagus. Our Mother's day reservation was made through the online OPen Table system and it worked out great!
I was glad because trying to phone the restaurant was very frustrating and always led to a transfer to a voice mail. For quite some time, I wasn't sure if I had a reservation or not. If I were staying in Louisville longer, I would absolutely return here. I loved the ambiance. Even at 9 PM, it was packed and energetic, yet felt elegant and romantic. There was some live music as well. The service was terrific. Our waiter was very attentive and even when we ordered a salad last minute, he made sure we got it before our entrees. The food was delicious, including bread with roasted garlic olive oil, wedge salad, and taglioline alla pollo. It was my favorite restaurant experience so far in Louisville and definitely my choice for special occasions. The whole evening felt special.
