Fabulous!We recently enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Volare''. Our only concern was the location of our table. We were very close to the kitchen. In the future we will request a table on the patio or in the front of the resturant. The food was fabulous! The chef, Joshua Moore, even came by to ask about our dinner. He was very attentive and even gave us his business card so we can call and ask about the type of fish he would have available each week. We felt extremely pampered and we absolutely visit again very soon.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMComplete Treat !We had Mother's Day Brunch at Volare on Sunday, while we have had dinner at the amazing hot spot dozens of times, this however was our first time to experience one the their special day brunches, and it was nothing short of fantastic. Chef Josh Moore had his kitchen staff on point with a wonderful selection from which to choose right down to the shaved asparagus. Our Mother's day reservation was made through the online OPen Table system and it worked out great!
I was glad because trying to phone the restaurant was very frustrating and always led to a transfer to a voice mail. For quite some time, I wasn't sure if I had a reservation or not. This hot spot is hotter than ever as they enter their 9th year of business. If I were staying in Louisville longer, I would absolutely return here. I loved the ambiance. Even at 9 PM, it was packed and energetic, yet felt elegant and romantic. There was some live music as well. The service was terrific. Our waiter was very attentive and even when we ordered a salad last minute, he made sure we got it before our entrees. The food was delicious, including bread with roasted garlic olive oil, wedge salad, and taglioline alla pollo. It was my favorite restaurant experience so far in Louisville and definitely my choice for special occasions. The whole evening felt special. The Chef came out and said hello which was nice.3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMthe warm weather on fridaythe warm weather on friday must have brought out the hibernating louisvillians, the volare restaurant was a virtual who's who in louisville. the staff was dressed, pressed and very eager to make our evening a most memorable night. we started with the ROTOLLINI di MELANZANE which was excellent and followed with parmigiana chicken that was the best i have had. topping off this well prepared dinner was a generous portion of tiramisu and spun sugar roses. chef josh moore and his staff was on fire friday night and our thanks go out to the entire volare wait staff. we don't have the opportunity to experience volare very often but the times we have, they have never disappointed.3/15/2013 12:00:00 AM
