The menu is crafted by chef-owner George Venezia who was born in Nice, France which reflects the best of South France and the freshest ingredients of the season.   • "We had a very nice dinner here. Authentic French cuisine The meal started with great bread and continued with a wonderful Cote du Rhone wine. My wife decided on two appetizers which were onion soup and mussels. She said the onion soup was one of the best she has ever had. I decided to have the Steak au Poirve which was excellent. This was our first visit to Voila but it will not be our last. Charles our waiter and George the chef were very friendly. Bon appetite!"

  • "I took my mom to Voila for her birthday based on all of the high ratings in the reviews I had read. This is a wonderful place to go for French food. She had the duck and absolutely loved it. One of my son's had the lamb chops and said they were delicious and then my other son and myself had the filet mignon which was wonderful as well. Since it was her birthday they gave us all a free dessert, which was very unexpected for all of us to get a free dessert! Charles was our waiter and very informative on any questions we had whether it was about the menu, wine or France itself. We will be back here soon so my husband can try it!"

  • "I was happy to stumble upon this restaurant on open table, during a weekend my husband was out of town. We were in France last fall and I love finding a restaurant that compares to what my husband and I had there. The escargot I had for an appetizer was great, especially using their wonderful bread to sop up all of the garlic butter. The orange duck entree portion size was very large for the price and really excellent. I let them know that I would be bringing my husband back to give his favorite french dish the steak frites a try!!"

  • "As I enter the parking off the street, I cruise around until I see it peeking from a corner location, and "Voila!" I have found it. All seating is intimate in this tiny restaurant, inside and out. It has all the best dishes you would expect from an owner and chef directly from Paris. The difference is, they care. The flavors of the food was sumptuous. The prices are reasonable, making the experience a true bargain. The staff is great, and Chef personally greeted all customers. It feels like a family owned business, but the food is first class, with a lovely presentation. They did not rush us at all, but we were never left waiting for attention. We were having a special meal and dined for three hours, and it was a pleasure every minute."

  • "We visited this neighborhood gem and were very pleased with the restaurant, the service and the food. Would definitely keep this restaurant in mind for special occasions. The food was very good (I had duck a la orange which was deliciously crispy. I would prefer a little less sauce and would request the sauce on the side. My wife had the sole and was very happy with her meal). Would definitely visit this restaurant again next season. Kudos!!"

  • "Have been to this neighborhood restaurant many times. The muscles served with white wine and shallots are fabulous. Indoors feels very stuffy ( temp wise) but outdoor patio is quite pleasant. The outdoor patio is dog friendly which makes it a real treat. The new waiter has a very strange affect however all food was delivered correctly."

  • "My husband and I decided to try this little restaurant while we were in Scottsdale this week. The service was superb. Both the waiter and owner/chef were very attentive and friendly. We felt very much welcome. We ordered one of the mussels appetizers and it was every bit as good as we had read in previous reviews. We each then had a salad...the Roasted Beets and the Caesar...and both were good. We had also read in the reviews about the Filet of Sole and it did not disappoint us. We drank a lovely Bordeaux with our meal, suggested by our waiter. Since we own a place not even 2 minutes from this gem and visit a few times a year, we will definitely go back!!"

  • "While the food was adequately prepared and served, our experience was not one that made me want to return to this place. Upon arrival (7pm on a Sat) there was only one other table in use and it was outside. So when we tried to sit at a table that was set for three (there were only two of us), the chef, with a mouthful of food told us we could not sit there and could only sit at a table for two. Then after we were dining, another couple came in and sat at the table we had been refused!!! Our server, while friendly was interrupting us too much and seemed as though each time she did she was not sure why she was there. No table cloths also lowers my opinion of this place. For the money I would go to Pettit Maison instead."

On our last visit our server Charles (an authentic Parisian, accent and all) even suggested we come outside to watch a spectacular sunset!   • "The mussels were amazing. The lobster special fabulous. But the veal scaloppini we ordered came as the veal chop special and it was nothing special. Our server was MIA most of the evening. And when we got there, they were shocked that we had reservations because we made them the same day. So we ended up sitting outside because they said they didn't have any tables. Another couple came in later and, apparently, they knew the chef, so after they sat outside for about two minutes, the staff pulled in the table for them. So, not we're not sure we'll go back, but the place has potential."

  • "If you've ever been to Paris, this will bring back memories. The typical ambiance is fairly minimal, as in France. The menu variety is superb with many authentic entries. Appetisers are sophisticated and well executed, the salads are intresting combinations of very fresh ingredients~one more delicious than the other~entrees offer ample varieties of seafood, beef, veal, pasta will keep any foodie happy. The wine list impressive and not to forget the good amounts of excellent bread served with garlic butter are continually replenished at the table. I knew the food would be great the moment we tasted the bread and the garlic butter. Anyone who pays such solid attention to small, initial details is a winner! Alas-no room for dessert!"

  • "Being a new listing on Open Table, close to home & a menu of classic French dishes excited us. The staff was VERY friendly & tried so hard to make our evening enjoyable. If EFFORT was all I was rating, I would give 5 stars. However, try as they may, they couldn't overcome the shortfalls. No vermouth, nor cherries at the bar so one of the staff ran to the grocery store & 30 minutes later I had my Manhattan. Duck a l'orange that was moist inside, but with skin that was burnt to a crisp & with little gravy. Steak au poivre that was tender but devoid of flavor & grayish in color. The complimentary dessert tray was delicious as was the crème brulee. Prices & food quality do not match. This restaurant has a LONG way to go. We hope they make it."

  • "The owners of the restaurant could not have been nicer. Very friendly and kind. The appetizers we had were very delicious. The main course was good. The atmosphere was fantastic. However, we felt it was a bit too pricey for what it was worth. We will try it again for lunch in the near future."
