  • "The appetizers were note worthy... A little different italian flair...But the main course, pasta with marinara sauce tasted like sauce from a jar. A very poor tasting jar sauce. The lasagna was not the typical dish... Small and tasteless. The seafood pilau was fishy tasting. Overall our family was not at all impressed or happy with their meals. Over priced and not worth going to.... "

  • "Excellent Italian food. We were seated promptly, with a window view of the ocean. Even when it gets dark, nice blue lighting feels romantic. I had the veal marsala... Excellent. Nice rich sauce, our pastas were fresh and cooked al dente. Service was attentive but not intrusive. We liked this better than Perla's, which was also very nice. But Voga's was a new favorite!"

  • "It was a nice experience. However, a Prefix menu shortens your selections. NO pasta on the prefix menu, shame. Visiting an Italian restaurant and no pasta, risotto, gnocchi on the prefix at least."

  • "Unless you can be guaranteed to have Julio as your server, don't go. We were seated quickly then sat there for 13 minutes without being offered so much as a glass of water. Our server was nowhere to be found. So I flagged down Julio for help and he jumped right in and took over our table even though it was not his station. After we placed our order we noticed two other tables next to us verbally complaining about the lack of attention from their server who was supposed to be ours as well. Those tables had to get up and get a water jug from the water station and serve themselves. At least I knew we weren't alone in our suffering. Julio really stepped up and took good care of us. I found the manager and made sure they knew what was going on."

  • "A wonderful twist of creative favors treated my palate @ Voga. Starting with their home made ciabatta bread with white bean and truffle dip, the night progressed to a bottle of a rosè Spumante along with a pizzeta with lomo, sweet plantains, mushrooms and smoked mozzarella. Superb. Then, a great chunk of ossobucco with green pea chicharrón (fried pork rinds) risotto. My partner had the "pollo asado" (roasted chicken) smoked mozzarella cannelloni and her eyes rolled back with delight. Don't miss it if you visit San Juan. Service was exceptionally courteous but not always timely. This should not stop you for trying this neighborhood gem @ La Concha Hotel."
