"Vivo is definitely a "neighborhood gem" within the West Loop. The atmosphere is very cozy/intimate with the dim lighting, and the food is outstanding. Our server was great, and very knowledgable of the menu."

"My friends and I were going to a Hawks game and we had a time limit. The staff recommend dishes that were very good and timely. Wine by the glass was also very good. I have been here several times and Vivo has never disappointed me."

"myself and 3 buds needed to get in and out before the bulls v. knicks games started; it wasn't an issue. we had a nicely-paced meal, served steaming hot (both thx to our server, mike z.); everyone's food was plated well and very flavorful, as expected, so no disappointment in any respect. well done, vivo."

"Have been to Vivo MANY times. However, last weekend I had a reservation for two people, but was not seated for 1 hour ten minutes AFTER the time of the reservation and almost an hour and a half after we showed up. Made the experience somewhat unpleasant."

"Food was very good once it arrived. All in all, we had an enjoyable experience.

Two complaints. We had to wait until almost 45 minutes after our reservation time to be seated. And the background noise level is uncomfortably high (not sure what can be done about this other than putting in some sound-softening wall hangings)."
