Private Party Facilities: Our signature San Diego restaurant offers interpretations of regional Italian cuisine. The atmosphere is subtly sophisticated, with a fireplace and views of the golf course and cliffs overlooking the ocean, which you can enjoy while dining on our terrace or at a window-side table. Vivace is proud to offer one of the most comprehensive Italian wine lists in Southern California, featuring some of Italy's greatest wines as well as some hidden gems from lesser known regions of the country. All pastas are house-made daily, using only organic ingredients. Some favorites include lobster spaghetti, black pepper fettuccine and the sensational risotto al osso bucco with braised pork shank and fava beans.

"We decided to try Vivace as we were in Rome at the end of 2011 and wanted to 'relive' the experience. We had such a good evening. We were there to also celebrate my birthday. The food was amazing, we were so happy and thoroughly recommend this restaurant."

"By far the most spectacular and delectable dining experience! Great for special occasions due to the exclusiveness. There were a limited amount of tables, which ensured an intimate conversation with the person(s) at your table. The staff was very respectful about privacy, yet at the same time, very hospitable and prompt. Last, but not least, the food was outstanding from the Porchetta appetizer to the Gnocchi. Overall, there is nothing more we could have asked for."

"Overall the food was very good and our waitress was awesome. The only complaint we have is that there was a group of people who were very loud and unprofessional, rude, making inappropriate comments, which made us uncomfortable. I only wish that we could have been moved to a quieter place and that management would have done more to make our romantic night more special. There were other tables available that were away from the noise. We didn't want to complain and so we didn't say anything until the end. It made the night unpleasant."

"We have been enjoying Vivace's over the years for special occasions. This year it was disappointing for the reasons below:

1. I made my Valentines Eve res. on-line through OT on February 4th 2012. I was called the night before(Feb 13th) at 8:45pm asking for a Credit card # to hold my reservations. Rude. Very late in the evening and very late in the process to ask for a credit card #.
2. My Wife feels she lost a bracelet at our table. When we got home 20 mins. later noticed it was missing. She called right away. The man who answered the phone said they were too busy to look. Can you believe that?
She called Hotel security the next day. They were very prof.& attentive and searched the area for the bracelet. Not there."

"Fantastic location with free valet parking. The menu is extraordinary, with all four courses being reasonably priced and extremely palatable. The wine and scotch lists are extensive as well. Highly recommended. Try the lobster risotto!"

"Outstanding food and service in a beautiful, calm atmosphere. They've got everything right here and best of all very soft background music so we could visit comfortably with everyone around the table and hear and be heard. Amazing how rare this is!
