The restaurant was out of several of their menu options because a larger than normal crowd came in. Service was also affected by this. The food that was available was very good though. I think this would be a higher rating on a normal night and will definitely go back again to find out.

Hard to give a solid review since we've eaten here once. Had the crostini as an appetizer, which was really good. The roasted garlic sent it over the top. I HAD to try the yak. It was good, but they undercooked it a bit. The sides were tasty. My husband had the steak which was swimming in juices and was overcooked to his liking (they switched our order request for doneness). He was hoping for a grilled steak. Despite it being "well done," it was surprisingly tender, so he was okay with it. I had the brownie since a lot of people raved about it. It was okay. Hubby ordered the tiramisu. Only complaint is that the lady fingers were too heavily soaked and rendered soggy, falling apart. Other than that it was DELICOUS. We'll return to try more.

This was my first visit to Viuda. My two friends and I thought the food was great. We all had something different and loved it. My friend has made reservations for New Years Eve dinner and we're bringing others from the neighborhood.So that is a compliment to Viuda. I hope you are a great success story and we certainly need some fine dining in Buda so we were thrilled to find you.
