Ciopino (Fish Stew)I hope I spelled it like it was listed on your menu. Several years ago we ordered this absolutely scrumptious stew. On Anniversary we ordered it again. This time the liquid was a tomatoe like Marinara sauce instead of the Brothy stew liquid we loved so much several years ago. The fish was the same and delicious.Being Italian I have a recipe that has the brothy liquid will make it at home next time.
I mentioned to the waiter and he stated that some chefs have different methods of presenting. I understand and can say that it was delicious. However, I was expecting the brothy stew with the triangular toasts.
Other than that, loved the whole experience and appreciated the free dessert for our Anniversary! Beautiful inside, excellent service. We had a party of 8, and everyone enjoyed the food - I would have given 4 1/2 starts on the food if possible, but a couple of the meals were good, but not great. The claim sauce was a bit "crunchy." The Pistachio Chicken was fantastic. There is nothing I can say negatively about Vittoria. We visit here frequently and had a great meal and service for a party of seven.

I had the linguine al' vongole, which was excellent. Lots of clams that were presented open in the shell. It was a very generous portion that I was able to enjoy again for lunch the next day. My wife had the chicken pistachio, which she said was quite good as well.
Vittoria's bread is excellent. We took the leftover bread home, which I used to soak up the extra clam sauce in my leftovers. That was almost a meal in itself.
The Caesar salad was just OK. It's described as a traditional presentation, but it's not. A true Caesar has anchovies rubbed on the inside of the bowl. The dressing was good but not great.
