It was very convenient, the Fox is just a short walk away. We had a friendly, efficient server, always a plus. The food was very, very good. We had the arancini balls, they were the best we have ever had. The server was very sweet to bring extra sauce and wait for the ordering of the next course. We ordered pizza and enjoyed it as well. The only issue is the room itself. The tables are very close together and the booth itself was miniature. We are not big people and we barely fit in the booth with our knees touching! But the experience was great! We will definitely come back!5/2/2013 12:00:00 AMAwesome Choice for Before FoxWe had a 6:30pm reservation but due to Blues, Cards & Fox events happening traffic was horrible and we did not get there until 7. They held our reservation for us when we called and we were seated as soon as we got there. Our waitress Amanda told us what we should order to make sure we get to the show on time and not have to throw our food down. We had salads and pasta and we had time to spare to get to the theater. But we did not feel like we were rushed. The seafood ravioli was so delicious and my husband enjoyed his tortellini. I had the Rib Eye Steak special. Although I was hesitant to order a steak at a pizza/Italian restaurant, the steak was superb! It came with a mushroom sauce and was done to a perfect medium rare. Really, one of the top steaks that I have ever had. Wine was good, service was very good except it did seem to take quite awhile to get our waiter's attention to get the check. The patrons were of all ages and the conversations were a little loud, but not so that it was annoying in any way. Our service was very good and our server was fun as well. My ONLY negative comment is that it was really noisy making conversation a challenge. I wish however that spicier dishes were noted. The individual I was dining with specifically ordered the Cavatelli alla Norma but couldn't eat it as it was spicey. It was good otherwise.
