"We have only eaten the pizzas here before, as we love the whole wheat crust. The caesar salad has red peppers added to it, which is a nice touch. The mixed salad is also good, as is the spaghetti bolognese. We have had brushetta at many restaurants, but didn't like the Vito version at all; it came with a very unexpected balasamic syrup overpowering the whole."

"When we arrived, our Open Table reservation was nowhere to be found!!! Because we were early before the normal dinner time (6PM) there wasn't a problem. Even so, a bit disconcerting. The food was good, but a little small on some of the portions. Service was spotty. Probably wouldn't go again."

"Our expierice at Vitos was good with the exception of the reception and check-in where we were ignored while the 2 hostess stood around. Food was very good and services decent. We will go back"

"Needs a bunch of help. Staff needs to be more professional. Friendly and professional are different things and you need to be both, not just one or the other. Food was ok, but nothing original. I felt like I've had this exact menu at TGI Fridays or something. Pretty poor. They should make their own pasta fresh, that would be a big reason to go. The fact is that there are other much better establishments near by at the same price points (Sun Dried Tomato, Ciao Pasta, Ramos House, etc). I won't be going back to Vito's."

"The food and service were good for our group of six. We all had pizza and it was good. However, the restaurant is supposed to offer stone ground wheat crust but the night we were there, they were out of it which seemed odd for a pizza restaurant."

"We were in the room to the right of the bar and it was very loud. Food was good and prices were reasonable. My chicken picatta was good for $17. My daughter had lobster ravioli-just OK. House glass of wine was expensive at nine, though. I will go back again!"

"Just a short walk from the Mission in San Juan Capistrano Old Town, Vito's is on a wonderful corner spot close to the Amtrak/Metro stop and ample parking. The ambiance is relaxing and romantic. Good choice of wines and martini's! Our server was friendly, and had choices to recommend when we asked. Vito's is known for it's pizza, we were told, how could we refuse? Our pizzas were perfectly baked, thin crispy crust, yummy sauce and good quality ingredients! Attentive service but, not overwhelming. The bar area looked warm and inviting so we definately want to stop in for drinks soon! Sinatra croooning softly in the background added to our experience. Check out Vito's website for events like Murder Mystery Jan. 8th and Reverse Happy Hour!"

"We all enjoyed our evening at Vito's. We each ordered a different meal and we all loved our dinner. The service was very friendly and accommodating. Each one of us would definitely recommend Vito's to our friends and definitely we'll go back again! Vito's is absolutely a great addition to San Juan Capistrano's restaurant list."
