Vito's Chop House - Orlando, FLOvernight Visit.It's a 3 hour drive for us to reach this restaurant and worth every minute and the extra expensive of a hotel room before we can go home. The flavor of the steaks is just the best and there are always leftovers to take home. The wine list gives many wonderful choices. There has not been a restaurant in Charlotte that compares to this . The dinner was out of this world!!! Calamari, outstanding. Pork chops, and salmon were cooked to perfection. It seemed we had the place to ourselves for almost two hours which was great and made it feel even more special. Service was attentive, the menu expansive (which is why I chose Vito's to begin with), and the food was very good. The environment is very pleasing and the food is great. The steaks are some of the best we have eaten in a while. They are great cuts of meat and or very seasoned in marinade that helps to deliver great flavor. Be warned the big cuts are big cuts! Our party arrived early for our reservation, but were well taken care of in the bar as we waited.
We had a group of 6, so requested a round table. It worked out well, except we were located at a busy service intersection near the kitchen, so there was always a lot of traffic near and around our table. I heard only positive comments about the food from everyone in the group, and my own was done to perfection.
