I have been to Vito's at least nine or ten times and they have never failed to please whatever dining group I am with. Two nights ago there were three of us and everything was excellent. The steaks are huge, prepared perfectly and totally delicious. Two of us shared the 25oz porterhouse which was just right. My wife had the butter nut squash, which seems weird at a steakhouse, but it was very good and she loved every last bite. The wine list is extensive and impressive but be prepared to pay. They could do with some bottles in the $30-$40 range. The service is always first rate although there were a couple of hiccups this night but nothing worth noting. You won't be disappointed by choosing Vito's.

Our server, Lynn, was excellent. She was friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable regarding the menu and meal preparation. Our cocktails, wine for my wife and a vodka martini for me were excellent (the martini pour was very generous). My wife's chicken parmigiana was very good, but the creamed spinach was watery and runny. My ribeye steak was unacceptably tough and chewy. The replacement steak was better, but not nearly the quality you'd expect from an upscale place like Vito's. The side of sautéed mushrooms was very good. All in all it was a disappointing dinner.

Overall the restaurant was good however I ordered a bone- in ribeye - medium rare and arrived at my table rare. Additionally the steak contained far too much grizzle and fat - and I had difficulty even cutting the portion.

This restaurant was so disappointing. We had been there previously and this time we order Veal Chops and rather than providing that, they gave us pork chops without telling us in advance. When we told them, and we did not eat, they took off $28

Vitos is a place you will want to go for a special occasion, romantic dinner, or a memorable dinner in Orlando. It's not what you would expect from a family oriented town on International Drive. It's elegant fine dining. The steaks are superb and the service is extraordinary. You will love the atmosphere too.

We wanted a special occasion restaurant for my wife's birthday. Vito's Chop House is that place. Our appetizers of wood grilled artichokes and crispy eggplant fries were terrific. We chose a bottle of wine from the extensive list. My wife and I ordered the prime ribeye and my son ordered the filet mignon. Our sides were sauteed mushrooms and creamed spinach. The meats are cooked over an 1100 degree oak and citrus wood fire. The flavor infused by these woods are like none I've ever tasted and I've been to many of the finest steakhouses in the country. My son said the filet was fantastic. My wife and I agreed it may have been the best steak we ever had. The service by DJ was also excellent. Vitos Chop House will now be a regular place to eat

Our 41st anniversary was on September 1, 2014. Vito's Chop House was closed. Because our anniversary meal was not good, we had to stay a second night just to go to Vito's. Our steaks were divine, our server Matt was wonderful. We couldn't have asked for any more for our anniversary do over. Thanks

Having been to Vito's on several other occasions, I thought this would. Be a great choice for a staff outing while in town. Not so. Service poor. Initially, we were 5 minutes (after seating) before we got a drink order, and mind you, we had asked for water. 8-10 minutes later, we got it. Three (3) times during the evening, we had to ask for water. Two(2) of the meals were. Not good. Simple and plain. The filet was not filet quality meat. Another order for pan-crusted chicken was placed. They were out and the decision was to order the chicken Parmesan (turns out, this is a new item) and it was dry, and over cooked on the bottom. A glass of wine ordered never made it to the table. Vito's was not busy at all. Desserts were awesome.

First I would like to say I am never one to complain about much but I didn't have the best experience. We had reservations and we arrived and the restaurant was practically empty but we were sat next to the only people in the restaurant. We sat just in the other side of the wall to where the kitchen was and was able to hear all the kitchen conversations as well as the table next to us. I ordered the $99 tomahawk ribeye. I have ordered this from other resturants and was very happy. The chef comes to the table with a hott plate and serves the meat which was a cool experience. Problem was the steak had been so badly burnt on one side the charged taste overwhelmed the flavor. Other than this I would probably eat there again.

I dined at Vito's with 3 girlfriends - we were in Orlando for a conference. We had Eduardo as our waiter and he was excellent. Very knowledgable in regards to the menu and the cuts of meat. Although the steaks were "top dollar" we found the prices to be very reasonable for other menu items (sides, soups, drinks, desserts) so overall we found it to be a great value for the dinner. The four of us dined on a wonderful meal ( salad, main course, two ladies had 1 drink each - the other two ladies drank club soda) for a total bill of $210 for the 4 of us. We did not have dessert TOO FULL. Will add they sent over a smapling of the lobster bisque which was to DIE FOR. I would absolutely return to Vito's if /when I return to Fla

Warm shrimp cocktail. The Steaks were average at best. Not what I want when I'm spending $40+ on a steak. The sides small and came to the table warm not hot. Key lime pie for Desert was a thick paste that lacked any flavor, publix key lime pie is better. I have eaten at some of the best steakhouses in the country and Vito's isn't one of them. Now I know why the place was empty @ 7pm

My wife and I made our second annual visit to Vito's Chop House this past weekend. We first ate at Vito's last August while I attended an annual conference. First Class dining experience last year; so we decided to visit it again this weekend after I attended the conference. This past Saturday, our server was Eduardo - same great service and same fantastic steaks, sides and desert. Yes, Eduardo did make some recommendations. We could have viewed it as up selling (as stated in other recent negative reviews); but what top flight restaurant doesn't offer you suggestions. Actually, Eduardo saved us $30.00 on a wine selection and his other suggestions were spot on! Look, it's Vito's Chop House - not Longhorn's or Outback.

This is a decent chop house with good ambiance, a very good bar (try a Tito's martini), good wine selection and good food. The price is about what you would expect in a higher caliber steak/chop house. For my wife and I it was about $205 for our food and an $85 bottle of wine. She had filet mignon with one side and I had a ribeye with one side.

We started with a cocktail from Gil the bartender. This guy can mix a cocktail like nobody's business. Our first course was the shrimp trio, then the Wedge salad and then their new special, the 1lb lobster and 1lb steak. Yes course we had a white and red wine, Szinsky pinot gris and a 2009 Chateau Montrose. The Montrose is drinking sooo good. The tall bald manager fellow checked on us several times. He was constantly moving through out the restaurant all night. Sandra the waitress always does a Great job. She was right there with more water, hot towels, more wine. We will be back at Vito's within a couple of weeks.

Food here was of good quality but the servers are obviously trained to go through the menu in minute detail and upsell which was too much.
