"food was good no doubt , the place was empty for a wednesday night 6:30 resi , service was attentive , ordered a bottle of wine from wine list and was brought out a different vintage than was on the list ( i could understand this from a restaurant that has been around the block a few years but only open 3 weeks ,come on pretty sophomoric) . for some reason i couldn't get over that . overall good dinner."

"Dinner last night was incredible, and the staff was very knowledgeable. Every dish (including some surprises from the chef) outdid the previous ones, ending with a warm chocolate mousse which required advance notice to the kitchen. Good wine list and knowledgeable sommelier. Overall? Very special indeed, especially for a new establishment."

"Add Vitae to your list of "must try" restos. The menu and food were carefully prepared and executed perfectly. Foie gras terrine with apricots and brioche was delicious; agnolotti with chestnut filling topped with parmesan and crispy prosciutto can't be beat. Fixed price lunch is a good value. Wine list by the glass and bottle is a fun one. Lots of attention to detail and wonderful service."

"Just opened. Our meal was excellent. The cooking style might be called New American, but it is not an overly serious place. the room is "grown up", but the friendly service makes it seems informal and welcoming. We will be back. It was lunch, so we didn't go for wine and cocktails, but the list is obviously put together by a pro. Worth trying out, before the word gets out and it is too crowded."
