Whether you are planning a corporate event, holiday celebration, pre- or post- theatre dinner, or just a night out with family and friends, Virgil’s has great options for all your event needs. We can accommodate 200 guests for a seated dinner and up to 250 for a cocktail reception.
Parties at Virgil’s are for the young at heart: they’re fun, festive and casual. Kick back and check your day at the door. Groups of 15 or more will choose from specially designed menus created by our Executive Chef. We offer down home appetizers including our famous Trainwreck Fries, Hush Puppies, and BBQ Chicken Wings. The main course includes delicious smoked Memphis Pork Ribs, pulled Carolina Pork, Owensboro Lamb, and sliced Texas Beef Brisket. To complete the BBQ experience, enjoy our Baked Beans, Country Greens, Mac and Cheese, Cole Slaw, and Potato Salad.

This was our second trip to Virgil's. My husband fell in love with the place on our first trip. This time we even brought friends with us. I food is amazing we had the brisket and ribs with potatoe salad, baked beans, and corn bread. The meat was cooked perfectly and the sauce has a spice sweetness to it. Our children had grilled cheese and French fries, and corn dogs and Mac & cheese both had the mixed veggies which I helped them finish because they tasted so good! We had a reservation but they didn't have our table waiting for us when we arrived. We only waited 5 mins, but we were a party of seven so I thought they would have had our table setup upon our arrival. Our waitress was busy we waited for drinks and for her to take our order.

This was the first time we visit Vigils. We are a group of Firefighters from Bridgeport, CT that for the last 25 years have gone to the New York auto show and then had dinner at Carmines. We tried to make reservations at Carmines but our day was taken. We had a great dinner at Virgil the only problem was that we were a group of eight and the waiter forgot to put my order in and I had to wait till my group of eight had finished eating before I got my dinner. Needless to say by that time I was not hungry and took my dinner home back to Connecticut. Besides that we had a great dinner and would recommend Virgil's. Thank you

if your looking to get a good southern type meal in the heart of New York this is the place....reasonable prices, food is awesome, and you must try the hush puppies and nachos as a starter.....ummm...ummm....good. I felt like I was back in North Carolina having a family cookout...great place really good service and with the right company good ole fashion fun...and the flat screens are a extra plus.

Only will mention that I ordered the pork ribs. I literally only ate 2 1/2 ribs. Upon opening my food last night, I was given 3 pieces of the baby back rib that I didn't order, and only 3 pork ribs. My husband ordered the baby back and received all of his leftovers. I believe that the 6 pieces or whatever was left, was taken and will be served to other patrons!
